Enjoyable Tour 3 - We went on Tour 3, 2pm to 6pm, cost of 60 Euros per person, which included a senic tour of the Bavarian Alps, Konidssee and Berchtesgaden. There were seven paying customers on the tour which meant a nine seater minibus was used. Gerlinde was our driver and tour guide all rolled into one and what a good job she did of it. The journey up through the Alps was lovely with some breathtaking views of the scenery, however, we didn't get the chance to see the Crows Nest as the roads were too icy high up. When we got to Konidssee the place was almost deserted, with only a couple of shops open, the lake was lovely to see from the dock side, but we didn't fancy walking the 20 minutes to get a better view as the sun was already setting and the temperature was dropping fast. We returned to the minibus and drove the short distance to Berchtesgaden where we we greeted by a wonderfully illuminated Christmas Market. We had 60 minutes to spend in the town, so we had some struddel and Gluhwein in the Golden Bar and then walked around the market. It was a wonderful experience and the architecture was magnificent. The return journey to Salzburg was in the dark so it allowed us to see the many festive lights as we descended the mountains and entered the city. I would like to thank Gerlinde for a lovely tour, she made it really enjoyable. Well done.

Eagles Nest Private Tour - Carlos was fantastic in that he was on time and waiting for us at the hotel. He was professional and courteous. Carlos took the time for us and made us feel like we were spending the day with a friend. He was exceptionally knowledgeable about the area. We did not wait in lines, He took us around Hitlers compound and explained the Bavarian ways. This tour was worth the extra cost and I highly recommend Carlos, Thank you for a wonderful time.

Eagles nest - Phillip is the man, great tour guide, exceptional insights, and great diver. His thoughts into what and where to look, plus the ability to engage with everyone in the group, hes the man.

Wonderful Day !!!! - Leopold was wonderful. He was so knowledgeable and kind. He made our trip wonderful. We even got to see things not open to the public. We would highly recommend this tour. We stopped on the way back at a fabulous restaurant for homemade desserts and drinks.

Renata and the Eagles Nest tour - Renata was our tour guide for the Eagles Nest tour. She was so personable and a genuine person who was very informative and knowledgeable. She helped us manage our trip and even helped us resolve a lost phone issue. 5 Stars

Great private tour - We highly enjoyed our morning at the Eagle’s Nest and Berchtesgaden. The tour was informative and relaxing. It is so much more than just the building with spectacular views and short hikes. Our guide also found out that we were interested in filming locations for Sound of Music and adjusted the itinerary to allow us to see some places before and after our visit to Obersalzberg. We saw many larger tours wandering around in giant packs and are so happy we chose something private.

Sadly Disappointed and Scammed. - They should mention that with the tours you still have to pay for the tickets to go into the Eagles Nest. Also the person even though he was nice he knew nothing about the place and he wanted to talk about the Sound of Music. Not what we wanted nor paid for on this private tour. It was a very expensive taxi ride. We would never recommend this tour to anyone.
