Highlights
  • Hotel Gorica - UNESCO quarter - With the Backpackers tour, you will have the opportunity to discover two hidden gems of southern Albanian in a fun, chilled and inclusive atmosphere.

The tour begins with a coffee stop in the small village of Bogovë, before you head towards the Bogovë waterfall after a nice 40-minute easy hike in the middle of nature. There you get a chance to enjoy both a fabulous view and a nice refreshing (some say rejuvenating!) bath in the natural pool of the waterfall.

After a nice deserved lunch break in a traditional Albanian restaurant, the tour then takes you to the impressive Osumi Canyon, known for being the largest canyon of Albania. You will make a few stops on the way at the best viewpoints to enjoy breathtaking views and take some nice photos for souvenirs. Your guide will then take you for a walk and swim in the river of the canyon to enjoy its beauty from the gorge itself, make some natural clay masks, and some cool final jumps for the most courageous, before heading back fully relaxed to Berat.

Canyon, friendliness, local lunch miri - A day of laughter, shivers (plus the temperature) and superb views of the Canyon which can be observed from above and below in the heart of the river. Miri and her team take excellent care of the participants and the lunch is very good and local. To do !

Fantastic tour! - We're not usually people who book tours, and prefer to try and explore on our own. In this case, we decided to try the tour because of how difficult it would be to make the roads to Osumi Canyon. We couldn't have been happier with our decision! Ervis is a very experienced guide and traveler and this was evident in the balance that the guided tour had. In addition to the vast knowledge he has about his country, the history and culture of those places, and the world. We had time to see and appreciate the many incredible places he took us to, without rushing or taking too long. It was a wonderful day! We highly recommend the tour!!

wonderful day ☺️ - We had a lovely day! The places we visited were magnificent. I highly recommend to swim in the cold waterfalls. At first it's very cold, almost painful, but once you're in, it's a wonderful feeling. During the tour and on the way, Elvis showed us some emblematic places and told us lots of things about the history of Tirana. We ate there and the food was really good. Absolutely worth doing again!

A day to remember! - This was an amazing trek and the perfect way to discover the hidden gems of Albania. I was so pleasantly surprised, more shocked seeing how beautiful this country is. Adding to that, Miri, our guide was an exceptional leader on the trek! I was a first timer on this trek, and he made sure I went all the way through! Kept motivating me and making sure that push myself to see these wonders. His humour is an added touch to this wholesome experience that I would recommend everyone 10/10!

Waste of money - Unfortunately the tour was very disappointing, what you see in the pictures is not what you get. The waterfall is easy to reach and you can easily do it yourself. Spent a very long time in a van that was too small, several hours. The so-called hike through the canyon, the one with water shoes and helmets, was also not available. We arrived and then you could try swimming. We saw a small part of the canyon. Waste of money
