The Ardenica Monastery, near Kolonja, is a Byzantine edifice spread over approximately 2,500 m². The complex includes the Saint Mary Church, the Saint Triad chapel, the konake, the oil mill, the oven and the stall. The Church of St. Mary, partly built with pumice stones from Apollonia, is centrally located.

Unmissable - This place is definitely unmissable as there is a variety of things to see from different eras beautifully displayed. The site is quite compact so even on a hot day quite manageable. We also had the bonus of some bridal couples having a pre-wedding photo shoot!
