Perfect Sunday evening - I had an amazing Sunday night together with Sasi. He was fun, relatable, very knowledgeable and did whatever he could to make the tour as good as possible.
Food was amazing, we had six different dishes and a juice as dessert it was plenty, I am really full.
Sasi was quick to order everything, and it felt more like eating out with a friend than a tour.
Even though meeting point was in the extremely crowded Sunday bazaar at chickpete he managed to get out of there and through KR market in a breeze.
Highly recommend.

Savour the best of the area… like a local! - What a fantastic tour from Sasi, who filled us in on a whole load of history of Mysuru, Karnataka, and the KR Market. This was only the beginning though! We met at Chickpet Metro station and went on a tour of the market itself, and marvelled at the intricate and fragrant garlands being created in front of us. From here — and worth knowing before you set off — it was a short metro (or taxi in our case) ride to VV Puram, a mainly pedestrianised street (scooters still navigate it) which is packed with street food vendors selling purely vegetarian food. Now, we aren’t vegetarians by any means, but the flavours and range of dishes was amazing! I’d be doing a terrible job if I tried to remember what some of these were called, but hopefully the photos do the job far better! A full 2.5 hour tour packed a whole load in, and we were in very safe hands with the wonderful Sasi, who knew the best (and most hygenic) places to go. We’d absolutely recommend this tour if you are in Bengaluru!

A great first day in Bangalore! - Divakar picked us up from our hotel promptly and was immediately friendly and engaging. He had lots to talk about and was very enthusiastic. We saw and tasted and experienced things so foreign to us and that was incredibly appreciated. We found the local people so friendly and never once felt in any danger though we did experience much hustle and bustle. Loved it!!

Trip of Sense - 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
I had an absolutely unforgettable experience on the Street Food Walking Tour in Bangalore with a Food Evangelist! From start to finish, this tour was a delightful journey into the heart of Bangalore’s vibrant street food culture. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable, warm, and passionate — he truly made the city come alive through its flavors, stories, and local history.
We wandered through the bustling KR Market, soaked up the amazing sights and smells, and then made our way to some of the city’s most iconic food spots. Every single dish we tried was bursting with authentic flavor and showcased the diversity of Indian cuisine — from spicy chaats to delicious sweets.
What made this tour extra special was how personal and immersive it felt. We learned about the ingredients and traditions behind each snack, and felt completely safe and well taken care of throughout the walk.
Whether you’re a seasoned foodie or a first-time visitor, this tour is an absolute must-do in Bangalore. Highly recommended — I would do it again in a heartbeat! 🌟

Don’t miss this whilst in Bengalaru - We are so pleased we did this tour. We tasted foods we wouldn’t have tried. we also learnt about the foods, about the history of bengalaru and about India. A great - and very filling - way to spend a couple of hours. Salish was a wonderful guide. Top tip - arrive hungry and share dishes.

A Deliciously Tailored Food Tour with Mayuri in Bengaluru - We booked a private food tour in Bengaluru with Mayuri, and it was one of the highlights of our trip. She began by taking us through the vibrant KR Market, where the colours, aromas, and bustle gave us a real sense of the city’s daily life. From there, we hopped into a tuk tuk and made our way to VV Puram Food Street, weaving through the evening crowds and stalls.
The variety was dazzling — crisp dosas, tangy chaats, and sweets fresh off the pan. A standout was the smoky, tender paneer tikka, char‑grilled on skewers to perfection. We ended the night with gulkand ice cream, delicately flavoured with rose‑petal preserve and rose water — floral, fragrant, and utterly refreshing.
Mayuri’s English was excellent, and she was extremely knowledgeable about the food, explaining the traditions and ingredients behind each dish. Because it was a private tour, she tailored everything to our tastes and interests, which made the experience feel personal and special.
We left not only full but with a deeper appreciation of Bengaluru’s food culture. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to explore the city through its flavours.

Full to the max with Indian tasties - It was really nice to do an experience like this with a local guide. My husband and I often try to do some sort of walking tour when we travel to immerse ourselves a little more, and since we love Indian food, this was ideal! We had toured KR Market earlier, but it was great to go back to see spots we had missed and get the backstory. For the food part, be sure you arrive hungry! We hadn’t eaten since breakfast and yet doing this at 18;00 still left us beyond full capacity. We also recommend letting your guide know what you like and what you don’t (for instance, we don’t like Indian sweets very much). That way, they can tailor it to your tastes. Also, if you are with someone, share! Portions are big, and that will allow you to try more things and hopefully not be wasteful. Enjoyable experience.
