Monsoon in Dudhsagar - A sudden plan during our group's little rendezvous in Goa, Dudhsagar trek with these guys was one of the most magical reveals of my life. Trails, hikes, small drizzles, gushing creeks, serenity, the magic I wasn't prepared for, my first trek proving to be beautiful and eventful in a good way, thanks to these people that made it happen. Some adventure it was, thank you for making this happen the best way possible

Dudhsagar Trek - Eagerly looking for a trek nearby Goa, I bumped in to Adventuresome. Prashant from the team called me and since we weren't aware of any details, he has helped us with every piece of information right from the travel from Goa to reaching back. And trust me, the trek turned out to be awesome. Walking with friends amidst lush green forests and singing your favourite songs was fun, and the intermittent rains add to the joy. After a long walk, around 8km, from Kulem, we reached a house in the forest where we had a delicious lunch and then headed to the majestic waterfalls. We all became kids and enjoyed every minute on the way, especially while crossing those water streams. And finally came the moment, we all were mesmerised looking at such a beauty, “The Dudhsagar Waterfalls”. We spent a good amount of time in the water before returning back to the stay. And believe me, this trek became the best part of our tour. Thanks to Chetan & Akshay (guides during the trek), Prashant, from Adventuresome, for helping us throughout our journey. If you are looking for adventure added fun, you know where to go now!!

Dudhsagar trek - I'm so impressed with adventuresome, they not only managed changes but also rescheduled our trek in the last minute as we couldn't reach the venue on time. We actually missed nothing. Dudhsagar was the best monsoon trek till date. Prashanth was the organiser, thanks Prashanth and team for such sweet gesture.

The natural beauty was quite memorable! - The views are very beautiful at the waterfalls. I visited in November. Over the bridge point by trek. There is also an option to go below the bridge by jeep. The trek is throughout along a railway track. The slopes are quite gradual. Mostly, you may not feel it is a slope. But the piles of stones and pebbles may take a different sort of toll on your feet and footwear, if you are not cautious. You may come across several people along the way and at the top. The guide was good. Meals were arranged like breakfast and lunch along the way. Nothing very fancy, the trek is through a sanctuary, but adequate. There are multiple places you can bathe, along the way, if you choose to. The train journey timings to and fro to start and end point can be cumbersome. Make sure you get some good sleep and nice people around you to make the experience more enjoyable and memorable. Doing the trek / walk while traveling light also helps.

Life Time experience - I went for this trek with my 9 years old son on 26 sep 2020. We started our trek at 8.33am from kulem and the trek ended at 5.33pm at kulem again where we parked our car.The guide was really good and friendly with full knowledge of the trek and risk in monsoon. We enjoyed the trek with two more couples from Bangalore. Going via railway track .jungle..crossing many rivers on the way was like a experience being in jumanji - welcome to jungle. My son loved it. The first view of the fall was just so wow and amazing. We all started screaming in joy. Yes while coming back the walking would hurt you especially if you are with a kid. But my son did too well and walked back 12km which took us 3.45 hrs.. overall it was very good. 👍👍

Overall it was a good one. Would have been better in pre monsoon on monsoon. - We had planned out a Goa trip. We reached kulem railway station in the morning by the local train from Madgaon. We had breakfast and started taking around 9:30 a.m. in the morning. one major problem in the tracking was that we had to share our tracking route with taxis, which is very annoying. Also it was beginning of a summer so there was a lot of heat. But when we reach at the falls it was great! We Spent almost three hours at the falls in water, which was so much fun. While returning the local guide hooked us on a cargo train, which was an experience of lifetime! Overall attracting was ok. I felt it would have been better if we would have visited in pre monsoon for monsoon.
