COMBO - Cave Tubing and Exploration - Very Physical followed by Very Relaxing - If you are physically active, DEFINITELY do the combo of cave tubing AND cave exploration. My group of friends is pretty adventurous and we have never explored a cave at this extreme level. With only our headlamps to guide us in the complete blackness, we climbed up and down steep inclines and boulders, squeezed ourselves through tiny crevices that then opened into beautiful massive caverns, got to awe at the “glitter” that decorated the cave ceiling and walls. We absolutely got dirty as we went spelunking through the caverns. This is NOT hiking with stairs and railings. This is very physical and not for those that don’t seek adventure. If you want to challenge yourself, do it! We loved every second of it! After getting very dirty and very sweaty, we got to swim in the crystal clear fresh water inside the cave and the relax and float our way back to the entrance. Our guide Vida was exceptional. We would NEVER have gotten to explore the way we did without him. He took us to places in the cave we didn’t think we could go - showing us how to wedge our backs on one wall and push our feet on the other and scale up and over spaces and reach new depths of the cave. Personally - if we had ONLY gone cave tubing, I don’t think I would have enjoyed it very much. I would have been a bit bored. In addition, without a guide, you are not allowed to explore the cave like we did. Simply too dangerous, so get a guide! But after the spelunking without guide, along with learning about the cave and why it glitters in gold and silver and white, the cave tubing was the PERFECT end to an amazing experience. Highly recommend if you want to test yourself and do something you have probably never done before!

Highly recommend-use for tours and airport transportation too - Great company and great value! We used this company for the cave tubing trip which was made extra special because of Greg, who was our driver for the day. He also added a couple extra stops just because we were on limited time and knew we wanted to make the most of it. The place we went for lunch was also delicious and one of our best meals while on our stay in Belize. Greg also was our driver to the airport the next day. We also rented our golf cart for the week from this company and it was a brand new golf cart-better pricing too than other golf cart rental places. I highly recommend this company-would use them again!

Excellent crew! - We did several excursions with this company - catch and cook, cave tubing, river tubing, zip line at Bocawina, river tubing and 1/2 day snorkel at the reef. We had Greg or Dirk as our van driver and Medz and Jeffrey on the boat. All were very good. They were all safe and knowledgeable and were very accommodating with us when we asked to stop at points along the way. Super nice guys and made the trips even better.

So interesting! - Our family enjoyed cave tubing at St. Herman’s Cave. It was an easy walk to the cave opening, and this tour company provided everything we needed. A few of us have issues with claustrophobia, but this tour was manageable despite that. Definitely wear water shoes and use insect repellent. I’d also recommend bringing a change of clothes, as there’s a beautiful waterfall and “blue hole” swimming spot just down the road from here.

Great cave experience - The cave tubing in St. Herman’s cave was a wonderful experience and it should not be missed. Edgar was very knowledgeable and competent. He knew the cave but also the vegetation and birds on the walk to the cave. Our driver from Hopkins was Greg and he was the best. He provided us with the background on the area and was personable and funny as well. We will request Greg on our next trip.

So much fun - We were originally supposed to do the ATM cave... they had been flooded from rains so We saw the Altun Ha Ruins and did cave tubing at Saint Herman's. Tourism has just started again and they had some pretty bad floods a few weeks ago as well, so a lot of things were closed between the 2 things. They still managed to find us something fun to do. They arranged everything for us and took care of lunch. It felt like a private tour since it was just us but not at "private tour" prices. The ruins were very neat to see and you get to climb to the top of 3 of them. The cave tubing was one of the coolest things ever (and I've done a LOT of cool things haha). Absolutely would recommend using this company and for sure do the cave tubing if you aren't scared of the dark ;)

Unique lazy river cave tour - We paired this tour with a trip to the Belize Zoo. Shaq was our driver and was on time, super knowledgable and friendly. He answered all our questions and was a very safe driver. The guide for our cave tour gave us a great intro level talk about the Mayans and how they used the cave in the past. He helped us get up-river and then we all floated down. This is a lazy river style journey, which was a little tamer than our college students may have wanted. Cave tubing (in the pitch black when we turned off our headlamps) was a unique experience. We lucked out and had no other visitors in the cave while we were there so it was quiet enough to hear water dripping when we got quiet. Water was refreshing but not super cold, and I get chilled easily. Bring bug spray for the walk to and from the cave entrance. Wear water shoes. The guide had a dry bag for our phone/camera which was not water-proof. They also will not take tours in if the water level rises too high due to rain. But it must take a lot of rain to shut it down because it had been raining and we got to do the tour.

Disappointed - Guide was late but friendly. Cave was only 1/2 mile long. Safety equipment was prey worn and the float up to the head of the river is being towed by the guide and then towed back down. Not what we expected and the mosquitoes were unbelievable. So many bites. If u choose this outing bring plenty of OFF or a flamethrower
