We welcome you at the harbor. A leisurely journey through the city allows you to witness the Belizean lifestyle and our guide will share historical and present-day events that have shaped Belize. A visit to the rum factory offers a chance to sample the local rum. The origins of British Honduras trace back to Pirates, followed by Mahagony loggers and slaves, with remnants from those times such as colonial mansions, Mahagony shards, and vintage rum bottles. As we meander on a leisurely sightseeing cruise, learn about the memorial tomb and lighthouse of our benefactor, the colonial houses, the memorial park, banks, churches, clinics, pharmacies, hospitals, schools, and businesses. Admire the houses, blooming plants, local birds and inhabitants.
There are stops for pictures and a visit to the RUM Factory and Old Rum Museum. There’s plenty of time to make purchases from the Tasting bar and the Rum Gift Shop, before we continue our journey through the historic part of town and then head back to the harbor.
