Very memorable tour. - Goff Caye is very peaceful and plenty of room for all to enjoy. The snorkeling was long enough to have a very memorable time. The loggerhead sea turtle helped a lot also. The tour guides were very knowledgeable also.

Amazing beach - The beach is absolutely amazing! It is a hidden gem and worth every penny! It is about 30 mins. from the mainland. On our way to Goff’s Caye we unexpectedly saw dolphins. James was a wonderful tour guide. To get there you have to go to terminal 2, and go outside the cruise port. A tour guide will be there and walk you to the sea wall which is about a 5 min walk.

Sad experience in Belize - Although I did book the excursion the day before the departure times were not very clear on meeting I did reach out to the operator and so did Viator without any success. I received an email back that said your Guide would be waiting for you on the dock but again there was no time. So I took the second tender over to the dock and was informed by the guide that group had already departed, but not to worry he had a second snorkeling resort available for us, and it would be the same price. When we arrived at the resort that had taken us, there was a charge we had to pay. This was an additional $30. There was no snorkeling. It was a pool next to a marina. Let’s just say I wouldn’t suggest it for the atmosphere. Still awaiting a refund.

Splash Wave: Unprofessional and unreliable - This tour thru Viator and Splash Wave tours was a disaster from moment I booked 2-3 months ago. Sent several emails to Splash Wave asking for starting time of tour and what time to meet. No response. After repeated calls to Viator was told splash Wave would pick us up at our hotel in Belize City. The night before our tour got email from Viator saying our snorkeling tour to Goff's Caye was canceled. Splash Wave was the most unprofessional tour company I ever dealt with. I also have a low opinion of Viator for continuing to use a very unreliable company that is Splash Wave tours.

This is not worth booking - There is no communication that is clear like saying a boat is taking you out snorkeling at this time, rum punch was warm, and the food took an hour for 1 plate that was 20 dollars. The only thing pretty was the water.

Tour left without us. Fighting to get a refund. - Awful. Tour operators left without us. We were stranded at the port. Did not go on the excursion. Everyone from our ship had to make other plans and pay for other plans. Now we can not get a refund. A refund that we were assured was coming on the day they left us. Nearly 2 weeks ago. They don't answer their phone. Ever. Belize is beautiful! Use someone else tho.

Disappointed in trying to cancel reservation - We called the vendor two dss as us prior to our planned arrival to cancel. One of our family members had an injury and we could not go to the resort. So we got our ships staff to help us call Splash Wave Tours to cancel and could not get any help. The lady we tried to talk with had so much noise in the background , from kids or other people, that we constantly had to repeat our comments and ask her to repeat her answers. After thirty minutes of trying to talk with her we thought we had cancelled. But a day later we still had not receive a confirmation. We called again and this time we were told to do it on line Needless to say we are disappointed in the service. We are so glad we never went to the resort

Complete cr*p! - We called the contact number several times. The mailbox was full. No way to leave a message. Or find out if our excursion was available at our port and for pickup. We were on NCL Prima. Apparently at the wrong cruise port. Total waste of our money. I need a refund. Total cr*p! I plan to send a FB review to all of NCL customers depending on the outcome of our refund. I’ll deal with it when I get home.

Terrifying Excursion - Goff’s Caye / Venture Ashore (broker) We’ve never had a more terrifying boat ride in our life. Cigar style fibreglass with foggy broken windows, wooden seating. 33 people crammed inside. High swells and many excursions cancelled but not this one. Many of us looked at the boat and said no way we will all fit - 33 people - and no way are we getting on there. But they did and we did. Every wave was like hitting cement; we were literally bruised the next day. They gave us a lifejacket to sit on or wear, we could decide. The guide laughed, “you thought we were going to sink.” Yes we did. About 40-50 minute torturous transfer to the island. We sat on the island for a while, it’s very pretty and we had fun playing with the island dog. Saw a lion fish off the dock in two feet of water. We got on the boat again to go snorkel. They expected everyone to jump off the side and finally put the ladder in when people insisted. We were told to use our lifejacket as a float, “tie it around your waist”. So we swam with it up around our armpits because the ocean decides … The swells were huge and we were told we were doing a “snorkel float”. They didn’t take us to the nice shallows, rather 15’ with nothing to see but the occasional fish and grey ocean floor. Children were crying in the water and some adults were struggling significantly. We went back to the island and sat around for an hour or so and then bumped our way another 45 min back to shore. Getting on and off this boat six times was a chore. One guy drank so much they had to lift him off the boat. This was far and away, the absolute worst excursion we have ever been on. Ever.
