An amazing experience on a budget! - If you need glasses to see I recommend taking your own set of snorkel gear to wear over them as they would not allow us to wear ours with the goggles they provided, unfortunately was not able to see the majority of the wildlife due to this including the sharks and stingrays, still for what we experienced we would definitely do it again! I had sharks and stingrays swimming all around me one even bumped into me! We had a blast following our guide through the waters by the coral reef (although hard to keep up with lol), the only real criticism I’d want to offer is the lack of coordination between the hosts as we ended up having to end our excursion early due to having 2 different cruise groups and we ended up not being able to sit and enjoy our food so that we could make it back on time (although pricey was very delicious even after 30mins of sitting there as we waiting to get back to Belize). Thank you for the experience!

Good Excursion - Overall this experience was great, the snorkeling and swimming with the sharks and stingrays was excellent. The only thing we didn’t like was the lunch that we waited an hour for and wish we could’ve taken that time and gone to the beach instead. Allie was our tour guide and he was great!

Awesome snorkeling experience on the reef - The excursion we did was actually shark Ray Alley and care Caulkner beach break. Our guides, Clayton and Sarah, along with the boat crew were amazing. Extremely knowledgeable regarding local history, aquatic and animal, life, and conservation protocols for the reef. With any excursion, I truly enjoy. I wish it was longer, but if anything, this excursion would certainly entice me to plan a vacation in Belize Rather than just a quick visit via cruise ship

The highlight of my entire trip! - Highlight of my entire trip! From start to finish we enjoyed this excursion and the Splash Wave people that were in charge of it. Very friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly loved their job. It is a truly HANDS on experience like no other I have ever participated in. I will return and do this again!

Great Trip! - My family cruised over spring break 2024 and had heard from a cousin that this was the excursion to do. Splash Wave did not disappoint! It was a very rough sea day and we had to alter plans a bit. They told us up front that since we had such rough seas the reef was not a safe option and we would not see anything due to the cloudiness of the water. Instead we spent extra time swimming with sharks and they took us over to an area where we could feed tarpon. The tarpon would jump completely out of the water to eat fish from our hands. The restaurant we ate at had some of the best food we ate on out trip. Our tour guide Stacy was very knowledgeable and we learned a lot about the area and history of Belize. She answered any question we had and even would hold sharks in her arms and let us "pet" them I would highly recommend this to anyone.

So so trip - We got picked up out of the terminal nicely. However, things turned from there. We got taken to a dock with 4 open faced very old boats. The boat was overfilled. The employees were nice, but when we got to the 1st reef, they didn't really explain well how long people could stay there (they were likely unsure themselves or not wanting to commit to a timeline as people might stray too far). The equipment was fairly old. My mask was not great and my flipper strap that they provided broke. The rum punch was good, but on the way back, they added another 5 passengers to a boat that was ALREADY way too crowded. Overall, would look to book with another vendor. The stingray and shark feeding was a nice highlight for my teenage boys.

The Excursion that didn’t happen in Belize - The trip didn’t happen ; I had woke up extremely early that morning to book the excursion; my booking went thru successfully; when it was time to meet the guide down stairs I was there ; I waited and waited no guide; I made several attends to reach out to guide still no answer; after reaching out to Aviator and waiting almost an hour and a half ; they were able to get thru to guide and he stated my reservation came thru late and they missed it ; but by that time half my day was already wasted and disappointment was already upon me

Disappointed and mistreated! Do not use them or Viator. - DO NOT USE THEM. They never showed up, never called to cancel, ignored the whatsapp texts that were read and kept declining calls made. They cancel if they don't have 30 people booked and if there are no cruise ships that day, then it's a guarantee they'll cancel without communication. After spending hours on the phone with Viator who took no responsibility for this mishap and admitted they were even having trouble reaching them to get an answer, we finally got a vile, unprofessional message from Splash Wave management saying not our problem and take it up with Viator. We never even got paid so they need to deal with it. Viator told me the same thing- it's not Viators problem, it's my responsibility to take it up with the tour operator. Buyer beware. Do NOT use either company. The stress endured while on vacation is disheartening and to be treated this way is unacceptable and unprofessional. I recommend you work with your local hotels to get the tours booked.
