Nohoch Che’en Caves Branch Archaeological Reserve - the tour starts with a drive thru the city of Belize with a guide narration on local culture, and customs. the drive continues thru rural areas passing villages, mangroves forest, grassland Savannah’s , rainforest, pine Savannah’s and Mountain View landscapes.
At the Caves there are modern facilities, and our crew takes the tubes to the caves entrance so you can walk hands free along the forest path. the seven line Zipline features lines upto a thousand feet long , going over the trees and rivers, the lines are located near the nohoc cheen park and its only a short walk to start zipping. at the end of the zip, the guides assist distributing the helmets, vests, and lights. then its a twenty minute walk to the caves where the guides interact with the tarantula and showcase local customs of flora and fauna. at the caves the guides issue a tube each fitted with mesh bottom seating, all around tow rope. guides lead the tour thru the caves, showing of the formations, and passing under the water fall, then its a cave exit and the float continues downstream. then its time to dry off and its Siesta time on the ride back to the city hotels, cruise port, airports, water taxi terminals.

Cruise ship guests should take note that their adventure begins early, within an hour upon ship tender start. We initiate our tour with a serene journey through Belize city. Modern amenities are available at the Caves, and our team will carry the tubes to the cave entrance, allowing you to amble freely along the forest track. Seven vibrant Ziplines intrude the sky above - some reaching a thousand feet, soaring over arboreal landscapes and bodies of water. Once the thrilling zipline ride ends, our guides distribute helmets, vests, and lights. Afterwards, you’ll enjoy a refreshing 20-minute walk to the caves. You will then be equipped with a tube, each furnished with a mesh bottom seat and all-around tow rope. Guided tour through the caves is next - revealing amazing formations and beautiful waterfalls; eventually exiting the caves and launching downstream, winding up near the parking area. Cap off the fun with some drying off, and unravelling in the festivities on the ride back to the city’s hotels, cruise ports, airports, and water taxi terminals.

Wonderful Guides - Sharon and Abner were amazing tour guides. We had a great experience. Would definitely recommend it for those traveling through Belize.

Amazing excursion - Cardinal and Naz did an amazing job, they were right on time and we had a nice tour of Belize City on the way to our excursion.
Loved the walk to our tubing Cardinal was totally knowledgeable about the vegetation, he answered any questions any one had, we received all our gear and tubes were waiting for us.
It was amazing totally pointed out everything unique in the caves.
Then zip lining was so much fun and totally safe.Unfortunately I only have one name which is Martin and don’t have the other guides name😢

Awesome experiences with an exceptional guide! - This was a great tour, my husband and I had so much fun! Our driver and guide was amazing and made the experience everything we expected and even more. We had done zip-lining before, but we had never done cave-tubing and it was such a wonderful experience. The authentic Belizean meal provided at the end was delicious and a great ending to the day!

Amazing time ! - We meet the rep at terminal 1 as stated on the instruction. The ride to Nohoch Che'en took about 1 1/2 hour. The tour guide (Sorry, I forgot his name, same name as the driver, not a common name in Belize) gave us history and facts by Belize, so the time when by fast. We did the zip line and cave tubing combo. There were 6 lines, but they were long lines and fun. We had great guides with us. Then we hike about 25 minutes and crossed the river 3 times to get to the cave. Thank goodness we didn't have to carry our own tube. I see people carrying their own tube while during the hike! Our guide, Tracy was with us the whole way. She was funny and make sure we were having fun the whole time. The cave was amazing, there were lots of people also in tube, floating down the river! Definitely something different. I would totally do it again, but as kayaking down the river.

Different world!! - Cave Tube was impressed and fantastic view, leading by 2 powerful guides for group 11 members. Soon after, tried out Zip line the 1st time ever in my life. Didnt expect such a high position to slide down. 1 was small but the rest 3 was really huge downhill like 1000 ft. Wow, such amazing experience i had.

A Must Do Excursion - This was amazing! I am so glad we did this. Pictures or videos don’t do this excursion justice. Fab was our guide and he was so funny and knowledgeable…it really made the experience that much better!

It’s amazing experience - Junior and john were good . They helped us in every way .we were a group of 16 people and reached 50 mins late to the place still they made sure that we reach on time back to cruise … They ordered food before we go to the tubing and we picked the food when we were going back … food tasted good too… the most good thing was we didn’t have carry the tubes to river while all other groups were carrying…. It’s a 30 to 40 min walk to the tubing place (we were not carrying the tubes but all other groups were walking with tubes)

I would do it again. - We had a great time. Abner and Marco were excellent guides. We were met on time. For the majority of the drive from port to excursion are, Marco talked of the history of the area. During the walk to the beginning of the tubing excursion we learned of the the plants and even learned which were edible. The caves were DARK but not scary. Zip lining was also fun.

Go fir it! - I was a bit apprehensive booking off the ship but these guys were very considerate of our time restrictions. Their reps were clearly identified outside terminal 1. The ride is about 60 minutes to the site but it passed quickly with our able guide Abner's narration of history and countryside. Coincidentally our driver’s name was also Abner. Be prepared for a walk including fording a waist high river and an up and down walk to the caves. Water shoes with doles or crocs are recommended and available for rent at $3. Abners×2 took great care of us the whole way. If you are on the fence about zip lining get off the fence and do it! Through the rain forest and crossing the river twice was phenomenal.
The only downside was the ac did not work on the way back but fortunately the temperature was temperate.
