A must if in Belize - Spent a wonderful day in Belize with our tour guide Freddy. We were a group of four including two children ages 10 and 7. While driving to the activity, Freddy was very engaging and explained many things about his beautiful country. We really appreciated the length of the tour being longer than the tour offered by the cruise ship. We arrived back to the port with plenty of time for shopping. Overall, a great day enjoying a very unique experience!

Amazing experience - This was a wonderful experience. It was fun and informational. Our guides were full of facts and made sure we comfortable. The water was refreshing and the caves were amazing. Definitely recommend this tour company. We enjoyed the tour company so much that we booked a second tour for the next day. We had the same guide and we were so happy to see that he was our guide again.

Cave tubing - Fred and Tracy were excellent. On the way to and on the way from we stopped for drinks and snacks at non tourist prices. It was a great time.

Wonderful Trip Overall - This tour was truly wonderful. Our guides were fantastic and the trip itself was well worth it. I learned a lot about Belize (history, local flora and fauna, food, etc). The tubing trip itself out to the river is around an hour in the van. You hike around a mile (river current dependent) and then take a lazy but beautiful tube trip down the river. The rock formations are just gorgeous. The tour group provides helmets, life jackets, and tubes. They had them ready for us at the trailhead too, which was nice for us in particular since we were tubing with our 5-year-old. A few tips - Water shoes are a must for this trip! The hike to the head of the river can be sharp/rocky, as can the river itself. A good sole is important. Bring a lunch - there isn't much food at the base camp. By the time we were done with our trip, we only had tamales as an option and, while I thought they were tasty, I was the only one in my family that would eat them. A suggestion to the tour group - It wasn't very clear what time we needed to be ashore for the tour. We were up super early to get one of the first tenders from out ship to shore only to have to wait for well over an hour for the rest of the group to arrive. It would be helpful to know if the tour departs on ship or local time and when to be ashore.

Wonderful experience - A group of us ladies booked this tour. Our guide was waiting for us when we arrived in port. On our way to the caves he gave us some information about the history, culture and customs of the people who lived there. Thoroughly enjoyed tubing down the river and through the cave. On the way back he also took us to a local grocery store where we bought some Hot sauces and spices. We had a great time.

Fun times - The trip was fun and on time. Good communication and our guide Sharon was full of information. She was easy going and did a good job. I liked that the tubes were brought to the location so we didn’t have to carry them there. A small group was nice. (9 people).

We enjoyed the active and... - We enjoyed the active and relaxing portions of the tour. Guide was great. Would definitely recommend. There are 3 river crossings and walking on trails and inside the cave. Would recommend that participants be willing to be physically capable.

V.I.V. rocks!! - Cave tubing was fantastic! Naz was helpful and patient with two 70+ plus year olds. Walk to river a bit strenuous, but floating in the cave outstanding. Gorgeous jungle and a treasure for Belize. Zip-liners and kayakers delayed our return to ship but Fab blasted through traffic to get us back to the tender boat in time.

Beautiful, but not what we expected - I want to start by saying our guide was outstanding. He was friendly, and very informative. However, I feel like we ended up on a tour we DEFINITELY did not sign up to do. We were under the impression we would take a long walk to the caves, then we would have a relaxing float in tubes through the cave. NOPE, not what we did. After tubing maybe 15 mims or so, we were made to get out of our tubes and climb a very slippery rocky wall (at the little waterfall) We then journeyed over very rough rocks and cliffs. And at one point we had to swim a long distance to reach another area of the cave. One of the ladies in our group does not swim and she was terrified, even having a panic attack! In my opinion, and my friend with me (who has a very bad shoulder) and would NEVER have booked this tour if we knew we had to do this scary and strenuous tour. We ended up swimming once again to get to the next area. That was also never mentioned in the tour description. I'm 60 years old with bad lower back problems, and was definitely NOT prepared for this tour. I think your description should be updated to explain all that will be required. After it was finished I'll say it was a beautiful experience. But am definitely not a happy customer to not have been informed of what to expect on this tour. And I will say we would have chosen a different tour had we known.
