The tour continues to Army bunker - from the time of the Cold War after the World War 2, where you will learn about some of the President Tito’s political games between great countries. The third stop is Gunpowder warehouse - where you will have the chance to touch the walls of the cave which Austrians built as the part of the fortress which served as the defense of Christian Europe against Turkish Empire. This warehouse is also an exhibition place where you will see sarcophaguses and altars collected from different archeological sites on Serbian territory. Great historical... - Great historical knowledge with a personal perspective, but be mindful it is not all underground. Kristina did a great tour!

An interesting tour underground - Very interesting tour in and around the fortress. Our guide made it entertaining with some added stories. There are quite a lot of stairs which was fine for us, but someone turned up on crutches, hence she could only do the Roman Well. The drink included at the end of the tour was in a modern bar along the river. We thought it would be more in keeping, to have been taken to a old tavern.

Darkó provides history packed tour! - If you find yourself in Belgrade, do not skip the Belgrade Underground + Sparkling Wine tour—especially with Darkó as your guide. From start to finish, he was encyclopedic in his knowledge, effortlessly weaving together history, geology, urban legends, and local lore. His restaurant recs—places we never would’ve discovered on our own—were absolute gems, and when any question popped up (and I had many), his answers were clear, candid, and rich with detail. The wine, the subterranean passages, the riverside backdrop—all elevate this into a must-do experience. Highly recommended.

Belgrade by bus - We opted to travel to Belgrade on a bus from Skopje. The trip was a long 8 1/2 hour journey but we had a nice time enjoying the scenery on the way to Belgrade .
We would do as many trips as we can on buses and trains rather than planes because all of us prefer to have our feet on the ground and enjoy the sights as well as stretching our legs at a stop on the way .
As we approached Belgrade , seeing the sunset in the horizon was out of this world experience against the backdrop of mountains.
We stayed in Belgrade for 3 nights and saw a lot of the city ,both old and new and enjoyed the backdrop of the Danube River.
We made a trip to Zemun, a municipality of belgrade on a Sunday and enjoyed the experience of it all.

Underground? - If you are interested in detailed knowledge about Serbia and the wars, this is an excellent trip, but it may be an instigation to call it a underground trip. The first hour was above the ground and then a few experiences under the ground
