Lots to learn and pulls on the heartstrings! - It's definitely worth a visit. Informative and interactive. Lots to do there and plenty to learn about the local area history and the building of the Titanic. Also, it is very emotional as you learn of the tragedy.

Very impressive! - Quite impressive! It is a massive museum and can take a good couple of hours to visit it. The museum uses different types of technologies and artifacts to tell the story around the construction and destruction of The Titanic. Fully recommendable!

One of the premier Titanic sites to visit! - One of the premier Titanic sites to visit in the world, situated next to the very slipway where the ship was constructed. The building itself is very iconic, and upon entering a massive atrium you are able to view directly up the expanse. Interestingly, whilst it does suggest purchasing a ticket online online before visiting they do also sell tickets inside the venue (I'm assuming it does get quite busy during the peak months of summer which is why they advertise purchasing a ticket in advance). I reported to the ticket desks to the left on entering and got the audio guide that I purchased following which I was directed over to the escalators in the centre to take me up the first floor where the experience begins. The audio guide actually starts in the atrium before going in and viewing the exhibition areas. It helps explain the experience and also the symbolism of the dial on the floor of the atrium space. The exhibition areas start off with the context to the development of Belfast as a port city, construction of the various docks and development of Harland and Wolf ship builders. This isn't in massive detail, rather only comprising of one area of the visitor journey, but is important to understanding the context to how it was possible to build the Titanic. From here there is a section on the design of the ship, how it was planned out and the processes involved for this to be a success. A larger section waits next about the construction of the ship before and prior to fitting out (i.e lunch of the ship). This section is quite large and focuses on a short dark-ride to help give the scope of the project and working conditions for the welders, apprentices and riggers. Its a novel experience as you tour round. There is also plenty of audio visual guides to help explain things. The fitting out section talks of the different cabin classes and furnishings to the lunch of the ship itself before its journey. The journey whilst mentioned isn't featured in a lot of detail, with some emphasis on the press reports and reception from the public and passengers. Next comes the sinking of the ship, which is quite abrupt and explained very matter of fact with some audio provided from passengers that survived the sinking describing their own experiences of the disaster. From here there is coverage of new reports and initial confusion of the sinking. The mood in this section of the exhibition is quite sombre. The final areas are when you head down to the bottom of the building, to explore the discovery of the Titanic years later and the and efforts involved to achieve this and its significance since. The shop has a good variety of Titanic products on sale, some of which is not seriously overpriced. There is also a café and restaurant which is however. In summary, its worth the price of the ticket. Lots of audio and visual effects are used to help shape the feel of the experience to great success. Some parts I did want a little more from but the experience suffices in what it achieves none the less.

Do the Discovery Tour with Pip. - This has been one of the highlights of our trip to Ireland. Do not miss it and make sure you do the Discovery Tour with Pip. Pip is the shining light of Titanic Belfast. His tour was supposed to go for an hour, however, it was closer to 90 min and it was so interesting, entertaining, and emotional. Pip brought Belfast's history to life. His words transported us back to the building of the Titanic and he linked this to the history of Belfast on a broader level. It really allowed us to view this historic event in context. At the end of the tour I was almost in tears. It was a deeply emotional experience. We then went into the multi-million dollar facility where the highlights for me were seeing the three standards of cabins, the surviving artefacts, the stories of some of the passengers, and the wall of passengers at the end. However, the absolute stand out was Pip. Don't even consider skipping the tour because it is the best part. And Kirsty in the ticket office was a gem, too. Highly recommended!

Well worth the couple of hours. - An interesting visit, took about 2 hours. My 14 year old son enjoyed it, especially the ride, but he also loved reading about those onboard. Probably not for young kids, too much reading, but good for anyone with some interest in the history of the time and the sinking. We got the audio guides, found the signs indicating what episode to listen too a little difficult to find, especially nearing the end when they seemed to disappear completely so ended up listening ahead and out of order.

Fantastic Tour - Riding in the carriage to all the different jobs on the boat. The noise was so deafening. Thought I would be able to walk into seeing the main stairs recreated or the dining room.

Enjoyed - We just turned up and bought tickets with cash while there. We didn't want to give all sorts of personal details they ask for when booking online. The ticket also included the Nomadic which was larger than expected. The first impressions where not particularly good; lots of notice boards including one quite anti-English which would not be very welcoming to people from England. The displays got better. The ride was enjoyable. The best part for us was near the end seeing real objects from the Titanic and stories about people who were onboard.

Good but not great - First of all I did enjoy the experience , The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful , I just thought, although I understand , there was too much on the building of the ship , The directions from part to part were confusing , you have to check every part , I also feel that a little more of actual artefacts from Titanic would of been very beneficial, it was good but could of been great ,

Absolutely awful cash grab by the Titanic Belfast experience. - One star as 0 stars isn't an option! This was advertised as something would 'Make Christmas memories to last a lifetime' an to be fair they've lived up to this as it was the worst 'visit Santa' experience my family has ever experienced and we won't forget that!! Started off well with a few hot/soft drinks and treats before we were brought over to the experience part of the evening. On arrival I was underwhelmed by the supposed enchanted forest of an absolute maximum of 30-40 fake Christmas trees, probably less, and an awful fake reindeer (yes, just the one). There was also a snow machine which was rarely used and a few picnic tables with empty baskets which I suppose had something in them at some time. Once out of the enchanted forest, 10 meters in length I'd estimate, the chaos really began. The staff, if you can call a bunch of 16 year olds dressed as elves who were more interested in speaking with themselves rather than helping to deliver the experience as well as the promised experience staff, who were stragley everywhere but absent in delievering too. Mrs Claus for example went AWOL at one point and wasn't seen for over an hour (I'll get to that time frame later). The activity part of this would keep the average 7 year old busy for around 20 mins if it had of been well organised which this sadly wasn't even close to being. Resources such as activity sheets were nowhere to be seen as if they were surprised by the numbers the had that turned up and they had run out despite everyone being pre-booked so they knew exactly the number arriving. By the point we had been there 75 mins (for something advertised as lasting 40-45 mins) my partner asked a member of staff how long it would be until we get to see santa as our daughter was getting tired and had run out of things to do (for the tenth time) and were were told we were 8th on the list... 20 mins later she asked again and we were now 10th despite several families being called. When we were eventually called to see santa (after around 1h 45 mins) we were put into an undecorated corridor, pic attached, to wait again in a queue with absolutely nothing for the kids to see or do for another 15mins. Now I have to say that the santa himself was excellent and was fantastic at speaking and interacting with the children and was the only good bit about this whole experience. Titanic should be appalled at themselves for this. They have booked way to many people into each session and the activities are woefully understaffed and under resourced. It could be great but sadly my family was left with a very sour taste in our mouths as a result of Titanic's failure to plan and execute what should be a magical experience for all. I know this is a long review but you need to be aware of what to expect in reality as opposed to the advertising promises (that are nowhere near delivered). My advice keep your money & to the resident Santa you deserve to be in a great venue no this money maker for Titanic.
