Highlights
  • Europa Hotel - We depart from Belfast City Center, from the bus shelter in front of the famous Europa Hotel, on Great Victoria street at 9.45 am. Begin the journey in the company of your 100% Irish guide and your fellow travel partners for today, we’ll get to know each other and have our charming guide set the scene as we take the drive through the rolling farmland of county Antrim to the North Coast of Ireland - an area of outstanding natural beauty.
  • The Dark Hedges - We visit the most popular natural phenomena in Northern Ireland, the Dark Hedges. The trees were planted in the 18th century by the Stuart family to impress their guests upon arrival to their house. Most of you will recognize the Dark Hedges as King’s Road from the hit TV series Game of Thrones. It is a wonderful photo-stop and an opportunity to be a part of a real life set!
  • Causeway Coastal Route - We make our way to the Causeway Coast where we can see fine views of Rathlin Island, and on a clear day we may even see the Scottish coast 13 miles away. The views along this coastline are spectacular, no wonder it is one of the most visited destinations in Europe!
  • Giant’s Causeway - The Giant’s Causeway is the highlight of this trip for most! Built by the Irish giant Fionn and his Scottish rival Angus, it is a real masterpiece formed of perfectly shaped hexagonal columns. Your tour guide shall tell you more about the Causeway, and the legends of the area.

The entrance fee for the visitor centre is not included as the UNESCO World Heritage Site is actually completely free of charge to the public. Based on years of guest feedback our guests prefer to have the best possible value price for the overall tour and then can make individual decisions locally as to whether they wish to access the adjacent visitor centre for a fee at the door.

  • Dunluce Castle - We arrive at one of the most dramatic castle ruins in the world for a 1 hour stop, prepare to be amazed at the way this old castle hangs over the edge of the cliffs. Part of the Dunluce Castle fell into the sea in the 1600’s, and some servants died in the tragedy. Since that time, it is believed to be haunted by the unfortunate servants. Take some impressive photos before we leave the coast and make our way to Belfast.
  • Europa Hotel - Arrive back in Belfast safe and well around 05:00pm in downtown Belfast, your thirst for knowledge quenched and of course you can now say to all your friends that the top attractions in Northern Ireland are now crossed off your list!

Great - The tour was worth the price and our guide was excellent! Great humour and singing! Also loved that lunch was ordered on the bus and ready when we got to the pub for 2pm. Excellent tour for those who want a quick run over.

Pickup confusion - We enjoyed the day and the tour bus was comfortable, however the start was a bit stressful because it was not clear where we were supposed to join the bus. We, and approximately a dozen other passengers, were waiting in front of the Europa Hotel in Belfast but the bus was down an adjoining side street. If my husband hadn’t gone searching we all would have missed our pick up. The meeting place needs to be made more clear.

Good day out, would have been nice to have the advertised tour guide on board though... - We had a good day out at the Causeway and the nearby landmarks, however the promise of a 'live commentator' to guide us through the day wasn't fulfilled unfortunately. We looked at many tours but chose this one as we thought we'd get a tour guide to explain the history, mythology and culture of the places but all we got was "go down here, take a selfie, be back on the bus for half 1". I had to Google the places and provide our party the actual information of where we were. We also were taken to a cafe for lunch which wasn't advertised on the itinerary before hand. The food wasn't great and had huge queues, so me and my wife just walked along the road to a pub nearby. The landmarks were fantastic to see, but the trip would have been made better by having the actual advertised tour guide with us. It looks like others have had a better experience so perhaps it is potluck.

The tour company was a bit chaotic during pick up and we were in the van instead of a coach - Booking with this site is a bit expensive than Booking.com when in fact the touring sights are all the same with the other.
