Highlights
  • Belfast - Meet in the morning in central Belfast. Your tour will take you to the North where fantasy and reality meet. The tour is led by a guide who has appeared in the show and share anecdotes about the show, the locations visited and take you deep into the heart of Westeros.
  • Carnlough - Stop at the location from season six where Arya falls in the water after being stabbed.
  • Cushendun - Head off to the caves where Red Priestess Melisandre of Asshai gave birth to her murderous shadow assassin. Remember that the night is dark and full of terrors. This is only available from April to October.
  • Giant’s Causeway - A crucial part of any trip to Northern Ireland is to see the UNESCO–listed Giant’s Causeway. Visit the camp of Renly Baratheon of Storm’s End. Although it hasn’t been featured in Game of Thrones, the spectacular site is a must see, and you’ll have roughly 1.5 hours to explore.
  • Dunluce Castle - You’ll have time for a quick photo stop at Dunluce Castle, the 17th century ruins that were used as the exterior of the House of Greyjoy on the show.
  • The Dark Hedges - The journey back to Belfast includes one final stop at the Dark Hedge, with its natural archway of intertwined trees. The road is one of Northern Ireland’s most photographed locations and the place where Arya Stark dressed as a boy to escape from King’s Landing. Pose for pictures, then return to Belfast, where you will be dropped back in the center of the city.

Make Time for this Must-Do Tour - Stuart was our guide and did a fabulous job giving us both the history of Ireland as well as Game of Thrones. The coastline was beautiful and it was fun to walk through the Dark Hedge and down to the Giant Causeway. Would definitely recommend.

Great day with Stuart! - Our guide Stuart was great! Long day, but made enjoyable by the frequent stops so we were not on the bus too long for any given amount of time (until going back to the city after the causeway - which was over an hour away). It is a bit of a hike to each of the main sights, so plan on wearing walking shoes. Causeway was quite a hike down and back, so the shuttle may be worth it coming back up. Bring cash for the shuttle!

Wonderful Experience - My daughter came over to Northern Ireland with me specifically for the Game of Thrones tour as we are both fans of the series. We both really enjoyed it and although it would have been nice to have a tour purely around the GOT filming sites, we wouldn't have got to see the Giants Causeway if that was the case. Stuart our driver and guide was very entertaining. Just one tip for improvement - I would have liked it if the actual scene from GOT being referred to was shown on the screen in the coach - would have added to the relevance but thoroughly enjoyed the day.

Beautiful day - Visit to different places by bus. Pleasant day. A mastery of the language is necessary if you want to understand everything which was not the case for me but as I am not necessarily a Games of Thrones enthusiast this did not bother me because I went there mainly for the visits and the landscape even if some stops were a little quick but hey it's typical of an organized outing lol. In short, I had a great day full of discovery. I don't know if it's one of the best tour operators, but in any case the guide was nice and I don't regret it! View of Carrickfergus Castle, cave visit, Giant’s Causeway and Dark Hedges. With stops between for the landscape. The weather wasn't nice but I preferred it went well with the country lol

Not the most exciting tour but worth your time... - Pretty sure I read on the ad that we were able to go across the rope bridge ( which was why I chose to go on this viator tour rather than others) and was disappointed to learn it was off limits to people on tour buses.. Besides, the Dark Hedges was not at all like what the pic shows on your website.. It's almost like false advertising! Glad the tour ended with the Giant's Causeway which was quite a spectacle. Stuart ,our tour guide and driver, was informative and pleasant with us although he did show his impatience/ annoyance at certain drivers throughout the trip which I found not too great and which made me anxious being seated directly behind him on the coach. Not a bad tour on the whole but less exciting than I had anticipated.
