A must do tour when in Belfast - A hidden gem a short walk from Belfast city centre!! The tour was fantastic. Our guide Sam was brilliant, a local Belfast girl. She was so passionate about the distillery and the area and it really showed when she took us through the tour. To be honest she felt more like a friend rather than a guide. The information about the distillery was very well explained and delivered at a level that anyone could understand and follow the process. and, of course the tasting was excellent also.

Tongue memory with a side of meat parcel - Me and my brother went on the connoisseur tour (I highly recommend this tour to anyone going or you miss out). We had Sam as our tour guide who was amazing, passionate, enthusiastic and engaging.

Awesome Distillery - Our group spent a marvelous afternoon at McConnell’s Distillery. Sam, our tour guide, gave us an exceptional tour of this amazing distillery that once was a jail! The space is remarkably restored and and retrofitted for vats made of bronze and steel. Sam explained the history behind the jail, as well as the history of the McConnell whiskeys. I would definitely recommend this tour to anybody interested in whiskey, bourbon or sherry production. The facility was extremely clean and inviting. Ask for Sam as your tour guide, you won’t be disappointed!

Cheers, from across the pond! - I met Gerald in Kentucky, at Whiskey Thief Distillery. He encouraged me to visit if ever I was in Ireland. It so happened that I was traveling to the UK the following week! We changed our itinerary to see McConnell’s, and we were thoroughly enchanted with the facility, but even more so with the people there, who epitomize hospitality! We left there in high spirits, after consuming some truly delicious spirits of another kind. Thank you for your hospitality and I hope our paths cross again soon.

J&J McConnell's distillery tour - The distillery tour is incredible, and the restoration of the Gaol is superb. Shout out to Ethan for being such a knowledgeable guide. Sam was also so lovely, very kind and is a top notch Irish coffee maker! We had a fantastic time and learned a lot about whisky. Definitely recommend if you are planning a visit to Belfast. Would suit a group, a couple or you could attend by yourself. All elements of the tour are accessible.

Informative and tasting - The tour started and Ethan was a great guide. He was funny, informative and engaging. We started with a welcome drink of Whisky and ginger ale (my new favourite drink) and a film explaining the history of the distillery up to the current day. Then we were led through various rooms with explanations of the whisky making process. The tour ended with a tasting experience again with great details on each. After the tour uou are wrlcone to sit in the upstairs bar and have a drink or two or three etc. This was a great tour and I enjoyed it. Its great even if you are not a whisky drinker. Would highly recommend
