Best walking tour I've been on - A big thank you to Arthur for his fab walking tour. I knew the basics about the troubles in Belfast but went away feeling like I'd learnt a lot about it. A very real and meaningful experience overall. Arthur is a very smart, kind man with a great sense of humour and he spoils you with information and stories. You are given listening sets at the start of the tour so you can hear Arthur perfectly throughout without having to worry about being near the front to hear what is being said. Arthur also adapts the information to everyone in the group to ensure full understanding and relatability - we were a group from the UK, the US and Australia. You are shown pictures and music is even played for all to hear at parts of the tour. Arthur is so passionate it's infectious and leaves you wanting to know more - he sent out a list of further reading / media to our emails afterwards. Despite the harrowing history, Arthur leaves you feeling optimistic for the future by the end of the tour. I've been on a lot of different walking tours in different cities across Europe but this is one I know I'll remember. Thank you Arthur!

Walking tour - That was an amazing walking tour delivered by Arthur. Arthur had knowledge to share about the city, about the less known stories, shared some from his personal experience and on the top of this he is FULL OF ENERGY! You don't know what he will do next, this tour has lots of surprises- I will not share details, you will need to experience yourself! Definetely go back when I visit again Belfast but this time with friends & family :)

Brought history to life - Arthur really brought the history and events to life, through the places he took us and the stories he told, many from his own experience. It was both serious and told with good humour, which made it enjoyable as well as a profound experience. Strongly recommended.

Unavoidable - Let’s make it clear… you can’t walk the streets of Belfast with any knowledge or understanding of how those events impacted on the locals, both physically and mentally. Arthur is one of them, knowledged and passionate about these streets he belongs to. He loves to share his own experience providing personal, historical and musical connections, gently leaving enough room for both tears and laughs. He regrets failing as an artist but I honestly doubt that.

Family from London - We highly recommend this tour, especially with Arthur Magee. He is very knowledgeable and seemed to know half of the people in Belfast! This is a sobering tour but the story should be told and Arthur shared this in a balanced way from both communities. You get to visit many parts of Belfast, much better on foot than in a car or cab. You end the tour on a positive note and that's not just from Arthur's dancing or jokes!

No holds barred, review of The Troubles with personal stories to bring it Holme. - Excellent, blunt review of troubles, supported by a wealth of personal stories. Arthur provided a wealth of information. It was exactly what I wanted from a tour of Belfast.

Thought-provoking and poignant. Highly recommended! - A thought-provoking, poignant and sobering experience. Arthur is an erudite and powerful communicator and fuses history, politics and culture in a tour that does not shy aware from the horror of the Troubles but seeks out beacons of hope for the future. Highly recommended.

Def do this tour - Def do this tour. Arthur was amazing, funny and very knowledgeable. His tour was nothing but entertaining and listening to his views on Belfast was refreshing. We had a small group of 16 and his commentary was easy to follow.
