A must do your first time in Belfast - If you're interested in a Troubles tour, you might as well do it with a local Belfastian like Arthur who experienced it first hand. Apart from his vast knowledge, Arthur made us feel very welcome from the first minute. He takes a very friendly approach and a tremendous sense of humour, which you really appreciate when talking about a very sensitive topic. It was also great seeing him interact with friends and people he knows that we ran into, giving you a flavour of how friendly (and funny!) Belfast people can be. We also liked the fact that he linked some of the historic events he talked about with the music scene in Belfast at the time. And you'll learn what the greatest Irish band of all time is (no, it's not U2). He also took the time to give us some tips as to places to see and visit after the tour, and he even walked us to a restaurant nearby where we had amazing local food. Definitely well worth the money and would recommend booking your Belfast tour with Arthur.

Best Belfast tour. - A fascinating insight into life during the troubles, from the perspective of Arthur’s lived experience. Both moving and sobering, the tour gave a real insight into life before, during and since the troubles, put into historical context. If you do just one tour during your visit to Belfast, make this the one. The three hours with Arthur just flew by.

A great perspective of the troubles in Belfast - A great tour & very informative. Was a totally different perspective on Belfast regarding the troubles in Belfast from Arthur, our guide, who grew up in the area during the turmoil. Definitely recommend the walking tour for those wanting a better insight & understanding of the past & present troubles in Northern Ireland.

Wonderful tour! - A truly wonderful tour, I learned so much about Belfast and Northern Ireland during these three hours! Time went by very quickly as the tour was so multifaceted, and I’d really like to delve deeper into the subject based on Arthur’s reconmendations. I did this on my first full day in Belfast, and I could not imagine a better start for this trip. Absolutely recommended!

Belfast Trouble Tour - Brilliant! - One of the highlights of our recent trip to Northern Ireland; Arthur's walking tour was brilliant and we all wished it had been longer despite the chilly wind! Arthur successfully blends humour, often harrowing facts and his own experience to convey 'the troubles' in an entertaining, informative and eye-opening manner, while never underplaying the horrors experienced by both sides of the struggle. If you have any interest in this turbulent part of Northern Ireland's history, I highly recommend this tour. The walk itself is not difficult and the head-sets ensure that you can hear everything said. Arthur is great and I only wish I could have chatted to him more (off topic) on his experience of the Manchester music scene as well! Highly recommend!

Feedback on the walls and bridges tour. - Arthur our tour guide gave a very honest and informative illustration of the history of Belfast and its troubles. We visited both the republican and loyalist areas gaining a feel of how living in divided areas felt. He was full of information which was presented in a serious matter reflecting the struggles of the people, but also brought some light heartedness to make his group feel relaxed and involved.
