Peace Wall Taxi Tour - We took the tour with our driver Dan M. He was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, informative. We learned a lot about the past conflict in Belfast from a neutral gentleman. Dan was a pleasure. Highly recommend this your.

Personalized tour of the Peace Murals - Dan was an excellent guide. He had so much knowledge about the Troubles in Belfast as he grew here up during this volitle period of history. We booked through our hotel where Dan picked us up and he customized the tour for us, come with questions because he will have the answers. Be prepared to get in and out of his vehicle to get up close to some of the memorial murals. Thanks, Dan for a most enlightening tour.

Excellent Tour - Highly Recommend - Excellent tour with Dan, sharing his own personal experiences. He made us feel comfortable and we were able to ask any questions, very personalised. The taxi was very comfortable and he came with umbrellas at the ready :) He stopped the taxi at the places of interest so we could get out and take photos and talk about the area.
Dan also gave us a choice of pickup/ drop off locations which was excellent for us to see as much of the city as possible in the same day.

Interesting and informative tour giving more understanding of both parties' views. - Thank you Dan. The seven of us totally enjoyed and learnt much from your tour. We were a diverse mix (of religions/nationalities and even one whose brother was a part of the British Forces occupying Belfast) ourselves. Personally, I think all children should go to the same schools and keep religion and politics for the home - learn to get along and be friends with each other ..... I hated seeing the IRA propaganda .... and I also hated seeing the wall art in which the British Royalty is pushed down the throats of the Catholics by the Royalists. I had no idea that some Royalists still lived in compounds that are surrounded by walls and with gates that are locked at night. We all need more respect for people with different beliefs to our own - and to try and remember that we individuals are not responsible for the faults (and there were many) of our forebearers. Dan's tour was perfect in showing us the entrenched views of both sides. I loved Dan's final comment - an imperfect peace is far better than a perfect war. Just for the record, Belfast and its occupants (including Dan!) were wonderful.

Superb Peace Wall Taxi Tour! - A fascinating and very educational tour with Dan. He had first hand experience living during The Troubles and gave us a personal insight of what it was like growing up in occupied west Belfast. Super friendly and very honest. Thanks Dan! :)

Wonderful guide experience - Dan was an amazing guide. He was incredibly knowledgeable and engaging. He was incredibly personable, intertwined his own personal stories growing up here, and answered all questions we had. We couldn’t recommend his tour enough, the experience has been a highlight of our time in Ireland.

Interesting perspectives but not well presented - It was interesting to hear Dan's very personal accounts of The Troubles and his subsequent points of view.
While he was open to answering all questions, I did not find Dan's remarks or the organization of the tour to be balanced. He showed little sensitivity to the backgrounds or opinions of his audience. Further, I found some of his anecdotes unnecessarily provocative and occasionally rude.
Growing up in the US I certainly didn't receive balanced news accounts of either the horrendous violence or the historical context. We booked this tour to be educated on this complex and sad history and came away disappointed.
