Belfast murals and troubled history private taxi tour. - I was interested in the troubles history and my hotel the Malmaison booked it for me-I was assigned a guy named Ricky.I told him I had no real knowledge other than grown up in 80s England with memories of TV shown bombings and killings etc. He gave me full history lesson then we done murals and landmarks and got out for pics etc.He hasn’t been doing it long but was superb…he’s a degree in Irish history,he’s a artist who worked and signed a mural on the international wall.Thankfully since the Good Friday Agreement it’s a better place for everyone but his tour definitely gave me an appreciative insight with balance and truths I was unaware of. A must if you visit Belfast and I hope you land on Ricky as I believe it’s pot luck who your get but I’ve got his number I will share with mates I know who may visit.

Sean is the best tour guid - The best tour guide in Belfast!! Sean Mc was amazing, so fun and very informative. I would deffs recommend doing a tour with him! It is so worth it, we would come back to Belfast just for this tour with Sean!!! Do not miss!!!

Excellent tour - Paddy picked us up at our hotel and started the tour . It was excellent he was extremely knowledgeable . We had a in-depth explanation of Northern Ireland’s history including the potato Famine and the more recent events . We were taken to see the Murals , the Jail, memorial gardens and much much more . Throughly recommend this tour , Paddy was knowledgeable. Unbiased and friendly, it was informative and fascinating . Thank you

A great insight into Ulster’s troubled past - Sean Mc proved a superb guide. His knowledge of Ulster’s history dating back to the 17th century provided a valuable backdrop to the more recent troubled history. His explanation of the post-war experience was detailed and instructive, and his analysis of the problems still arising even after the Good Friday Agreement were enlightening. Sean was extremely balanced in his accounts of the criminality and atrocities committed by all parties in the Troubles. He peppered his talk with personal anecdotes which only added to the imparting of knowledge. A memorable and sobering couple of hours, thoroughly recommended for anyone interested in social history.
