- Prison Island Belfast - So you want to experience the ultimate stress busting activity but you’ve never thrown an AXE? No need to worry, our wonderful team of expert coaches will give you a warm welcome to our vibrant venue. Once you’ve signed our waiver we will start with safety and show you some throwing techniques including one and two handed throws. Then it’s your turn to experience the AWESOME feeling of SINKING STEEL into our wooden targets. Will you hit the BULLSEYE? Our expert coaches will continue to give you tips and advice to make sure you are throwing safely and with confidence. Once you are happy we move onto some friendly COMPETITION & GAMES. There’s time for photo’s a plenty too since its not every day you get to feel like a Viking! (Ages 18+, no open toed shoes, please tell the rest of your group)

Our proficient trainers will guide you on how to hurl AUTHENTIC AXES (In a safe manner, definitely!) You will delve into the exhilarating sensation of single and double-handed tosses, giving you the freedom to choose what suits you best. Naturally, you’re allowed to mix methods to truly master the skill. There’s ample room for honing your abilities and once you’ve built confidence, we progress to some lighthearted rivalry and interesting games. Get ready to enjoy an extraordinary group fun at the Axe Yard. There’s no thrill quite like nailing that Bullseye!

Fun times - Had the most fun experience yesterday at axe throwing, highly recommend it and can’t wait to go back again. Jones was our host and couldn’t ask for better made the experience so fun. Honestly so much fun ❤️

Excellent Axe throwing - Would recommend this activity, such a good family fun night out. Easy parking facility and friendly staff.

Fun and competitive - Such a fun time launching axes, we had great advice from our coach to get the most out of our experience, brilliant facility there and never a moment board as there were activities to keep us busy even when we weren’t throwing axes!

Brilliant craic - thanks, Jack! - This was a fantastic evening, loads of craic. Jack the instructor was friendly, helpful and made my two friends and I feel very relaxed (crucial when wielding axes). We had loads of time in the yard with plenty of warm up throws before some competitive games. It’s simple enough to pick up and feel decent quite quickly, and Jack fostered that competitive edge in us nicely! Thanks for a great evening, I’d definitely recommend it.
