- Mutianyu Great Wall - Picked up between 7:00am to 13:00pm in your hotel lobby.
Then drive to Mutianyu Great Wall directly. Mutianyu Great Wall is known for its beautiful surroundings - dense woods and rich pastures changing colors with the seasons of a year. Mutianyu Great Wall is located in Huai Rou County on the north-east of Beijing. This section of the Great Wall is about 75 KM from the center of Beijing. As one of the best-preserved parts of the Great Wall, Mutianyu section of Great Wall used to serve as the northern barrier defending the capital and the imperial tombs. Cable car can take you up to the Great Wall, you can choose to enjoy the hiking to the peak or stay to enjoy the beautiful view. Cable down or toboggan down would be more fun.

Great Wall Tour - So Great! - Organised a tour to the Great Wall, Maggie was our guide. She was fantastic and very knowledgeable of all things. On the ride to the Great Wall she even told us some history and information about other attractions in Beijing. If you have an option to ask for a guide, you can’t go wrong with her. Maggie arrived promptly at our hotel, she always had a smile and we had a terrific time.

Great Wall private tour with luge ride - Amazing day with our amazing guide Linda, she was so nice and helpful, we got picked up at hotel at 745 and back at 1530, it wasn’t crowded at Mutianyu and our family had such a lovely day.

Amazing day - We have really enjoyed our trip to the Great Wall. Zoey was a fantastic guide, knowledgeable and helpful but gave us time alone as a family to explore the wall at our own pace too. What a beautiful place. The toboggan was a bit hit with the children 😁

Fun for kids, memorable for grown-ups - Incredible experience! Jason was really knowledgeable and friendly. Speaking fluent English and explaining a lot about the history of the wall and our questions about China.
Our son had so much fun going up by chairlift and down by toboggan. We went on holiday season, queue was ok since we opted for early trip.

Taking on Mutianyu as a family!! - Our family embarked on an unforgettable journey to the Mutianyu Great Wall of China with Maggie as our guide and Garrett as our driver.
With three young children in tow, Maggie's kindness and patience were invaluable. She not only led us to the steepest tower but also ensured our kids were safe and engaged throughout. Additionally, Maggie took numerous photos and guided us to the perfect viewpoints, capturing cherished memories along the way. Garrett's safe driving added to the peace of mind. Great Wall trip - From the time Jun picked us up from our hotel until we were dropped off in our beautiful car driven by Gary we had the best time. The total experience was amazing, chair lift , climbing the very steep wall and toboggan down. Both Gary and Jun really friendly and informative. We had the best time. Thank You both.

One word: AMAZING!! - Jerry was a great tour guide!! We booked this tour with our guide jerry, everything went smoothly from the start, from pickup directly at the hotel to reaching the Great Wall and going up with the cable car. Jerry was very friendly and we were able to explore the Great Wall at our own pace and time. He also waited patiently for our shopping :) highly recommended for everyone !
Ps: going down with the tobogganing was really amazing

Perfect tour content & customised to our pace - Maggie was a great guide- knowledgeable, patient & fluent in English & Mandarin. Equally helpful and kind was Gary our soft-spoken driver who not only drove well but answered our questions on culture and customs from his perspective.
Kids had a great time tobogganing down while Maggie patiently held me to walk back to the tower & take the chairlift down to the base.
