Visitors can pre-book online and gain access by presenting their passport, allowing them to explore at their leisure—whether in the morning, afternoon, evening, or even at night during July and August.
Both the entrance ticket and a shuttle bus ride from the parking area to the entrance are included.
There is also an option for a cable car and toboggan ride.
Opening hours: November 16th to March 15th, 8:00 am to 5:30 pm
March 16th to November 15th, 7:30 am to 6:30 pm
The Night Wall is open in July and August from 5:00 pm to 9:30 pm.

Service above and beyond - Our experience was exceptional throughout. We originally purchased the tickets only and the day before Violet contacted us to verify the booking and inquired about our transportation to the wall. She arranged for a private driver to take us and then wait for us to return and then drive us to the Summer Palace. After getting turned around exiting the wall she worked with the driver to locate us. I would highly recommended this tour company.

Fantastic - 1) Violet was very helpful guiding us almost real time to go to GW of China
2) Riding by chairlift was scary but most exciting one

Great times at the Great Wall - It was our first visit to this historyc site. Violet really helped us with everything and booked a great taxi which took us all the way to the cable cart and back to our hotel. The driver was very polite and
Professional. We took the toboggan down, which was very fun. The only wish I had was that we stayed longer. We had excellent weather and I really recommend a visit when You are in Beijing.

Beautiful family excursion - Beautiful, in the evening, there were not many people. We took advantage of a 12-hour stopover to come to the Wall. It is a place to see, the landscapes are really beautiful.

A fantastic experience - We visited it in winter, without snow, and it is the period that I recommend because there is so much walking, uphill and downhill, and you can not shelter from the sun. Tickets purchased with Viator are loaded on passports, you must then go directly to the dedicated entrances
