Mutianyu Great Wall - An English-speaking driver will pick up guests from their hotel at a time of their choosing. The journey to the Great Wall at Mutianyu from downtown Beijing takes approximately 1.5 hours. Located northeast of the city, this section of the Wall is one of the most popular attractions. Although it is slightly further away, it attracts fewer tourists.
Visitors can take a cable car up to the Wall, and this is the only section that offers a toboggan ride down. The toboggan ride promises plenty of fun.
Upon arrival, the driver can assist with purchasing tickets. After spending a few hours hiking and capturing photos, guests will return to their hotel around 4:00 pm.
If interested in visiting other sections, a customized itinerary can be arranged.
The start time is flexible. During holidays or weekends, it is advisable to start earlier to avoid crowds. Please indicate when booking if an early start is preferred.

The entrance tickets and the shuttle bus ride between car parking and entrance included. The cable car tickets and toboggan is not included.

Recommended - Travel with family, and the driver speaks english well. On time pick up and when visiting a workshop, the driver asked first if we have interest. Great trip.

A great private ride for a comfortable visit - Great way to discover Great Wall of China by the comfortable ride (with pick-up/drop off at your hotel or where you prefer to be dropped off), you can leave at convenient time (we left early to skip crowds). Sam helped with tickets and recommendations for food. Highly recommend!

A very special experience - We had a wonderful morning on the Great Wall of China. Sam took us safely to the cable car and took care of everything. Communication in English was no problem and he answered all our questions. A special highlight for us was the ride in the glass-roofed Tesla, perfect for a sunny New Year's Eve.

Excellent English driver - Ken was an excellent tour guide, he was so energetic and charismatic l, he took us a lot of great pictures and we no needed to wait in lines to go into the Great Wall

Great Wall trip - Ken was a great guide, pick up was on time and he helped us sorting cable car tickets and advising us on he best bit of the wall to do Car was clean and comfortable and Ken's English was good. Would recommend.

Solo female travel to Great Wall of China - Ken was a great driver and tour guide. He was very friendly with good conversational English and happy to share his knowledge. He took some beautiful photographs of me at the Great Wall of China, which was so nice because I was traveling solo and so very special to have lovely photo of myself on this very special day.
This booking was great, private car all the way to the doorstep, no bus or waiting in lines, very easy and good. Ken pointed out a great itinerary for my exploration of the Great Wall and I am glad he did, because I had no idea about this on my own. The very high lookout had incredible views, and was great exercise and experience I will never forget!

Amazing Private Tour - It was a fuss free tour, from the booking to the actual tour. Jack was prompt with his replies on all the queries I had before the tour. My family had the most amazing time at Mutianyu. Jane, our tour guide, was very friendly and helpful. She was punctual and she came to pick us up in a beautiful MPV at our hotel. She is knowledgeable and explained the history. We went up via ski lift and down by toboggan. It was really fun and exciting- a must try for all. After the tour, we had tea ceremony which was also an awesome experience. We truly enjoyed it. At the end of the tour, Jane dropped us off at Niu Jie so that we could get Halal food. Highly recommend this tour!!

Perfect experience! - We had an amazing time with our private driver to the Great Wall. She was very attentive, gave amazing recommendations, the van was nice and comfortable, and we even got to experience a private tea ceremony. Thanks so much Lingling!
