Must do activity do to in Belgium - Sarah was excellent host- great knowledge in beers and waffles and super helpful. Waffles making was soo much fun, especially between friends as there was friendly competition. Wide variety of topping were available: chocolates, creams and some chocolate sweets… and many more You are provided a wide variety of beers to taste and can sip throughout making the waffles and whilst waiting got waffles to cook. This is a must do activity in Belgium

Great way to eat, learn, and drink good beer! - This is a fun way to learn how to make Belgian waffles, enjoy delicious beers, and learn more about the history of Belgian beers. The location is right up the street from many famous spots so it’s not out of the way and easy to work into your day of touring. Sara was a great teacher and made it fun for a class of 16 from all over the world and ages from 25 to 65!

Fantastic Experience - So much fun, and delicious too. Sarah was our teacher and so very friendly, many great stories, and endless patience with our cooking skills. Never thought of myself as a beer person but the samples were varied and at least one would appeal to anyone.

Fun bucket list experience! And you get a certificate! - Great experience, but had a few technical issues. First, let me say that, in the end, this experience was absolutely fabulous and everyone should do it when in Brussels. That being said, however, I did have a couple of issues. One, I had this booked on a Monday at 11. I woke up that morning to a text (around 8 am) that the teacher couldn’t make it and asking me to re-schedule. I felt like that was very late notice, but appreciated the urgency of a text exchange - not all tour operators do that. Luckily, I was able to re-schedule for Wednesday. However, because I was a single traveler, the teacher had set up the class to pair me with another single traveler. After we did the beer tasting (which was amazing and one of my favorites that I did while I was Belgium because they offered a fun flavor variety), I asked if this was a couples class and I had misunderstood. When the teacher said no, I asked to have my own table set up so I could have my own experience. I didn’t want to go back and forth with a stranger on who was going to break the eggs or sift the flour or who got to eat which waffle. The teacher seemed confused by this request, saying that the recipe made 12 waffles and that there was no way I could eat them all so I should just share. However, it’s not about the number of waffles, but the experience of the class. When a pair of sisters in the class also asked if they could have their own stations and the entire class said they were okay with waiting a few minutes to set up two more stations, she did so. I’m glad I insisted on the change, because I know it would not have been as fun for me in the original set up. All that being said, the class itself was really great. The room is cute and nicely decorated. The beers were fantastic - and I’m generally not a beer drinker. There was fun music playing and we all had a lot of laughs while we baked and ate. And, they give you a fun certificate, plus you get to keep the apron! Would definitely recommend!!
