A delightful 20-minute stroll commencing from the Saint-Nicolas church will lead you to the majestic royal palace on Dam Square, passing by the neogothic style Central Station. A long but fun day! - Loved the cheese farm…..quirky cheese maker and delicious cheese. Saw how clogs are made too! Amsterdam was a zoo at the holidays so walking around was a challenge but we had ample time to explore! Very knowledgeable guide and great bus driver!

Try to organize better your visits. The map given from the guide, with the font size 0,2(!), didn't helptiny lett - Unfortunately, very bad weather. Very willing our guide, prompt and polite, but the visit to the cheese place, didn't let us more time to visit Amsterdam. A 20 minutes speach of the old guy in the farm, with his tricks, didn't help the group's time, but the farm's incomes as everybody was buying something.

Uninterested and callous + no windmills - It wasn’t particularly good.. No windmills! The guide really looked like he didn’t want to be there.. He was taking about 30 of us and he announced before the walk that he can’t speak loudly because that’s not what people in north Europe do. (They could have easily provided ear pieces instead) He then simply walked quickly through the stock exchange, through a tourist trap street and reached the Dam - said we meet here and disappeared. Even on the way back he sped ahead without checking if the whole group was still there and left two elderly women behind . He didn’t even bother looking for them.. tried calling them twice and asked another lady if they had enough cash for a train ride back and asked the driver to start. They luckily found their way back.. There was no guiding, didn’t particularly give us much information about anything. He was trying to mix in the crowd and avoid associating with the group that he was guiding.. I won’t recommend this tour at all

3 days before the trip ,... - 3 days before the trip , we were told the meeting place is the old Office and not the street where the bus was parked. Bruno was good alrhough it seems tge rest of the group were busy talking to each other and was not able to discipline their rowdy children; eating and drinking in the bus which was expressed by the tour guide as not allowed.

Tour guide does not enjoy his job - Amsterdam itself was fine. Our tour guide was awful. Very dismissive and condescending. Provided his phone number but didn't answer when called. Told us we had to meet him at stop 5 at 5pm not stop 1 where the bus dropped us off. Did shopping and lunch and ended back where the bus dropped us off. Headed to stop 5 since he said that's where we needed to go. When we got to stop 5 it was so crowded and a square with tents and people everywhere. Found some people from our group and called our guide numerous times. He never answered. Some of the group wanted around and found him. We informed him that we had called numerous times and he said he knew that but didn't answer. He then took us back to stop 1 to meet the bus!! Why would be tell us we need to be at stop 5 for pickup and then take us back to 1?? We could have stayed at 1 and met him there. No need to be fighting the crowd for an hour trying to get to 5 by 5pm only to return to 1. I have used viator for tours in several countries and never was so unhappy with the guide.

not good - Well, I followed the instructions they gave me, it is not well explained... I was at the meeting point since 8, no one seemed to be there... We were not the only people waiting... in the end I went to the information center and they informed me what the protocol was like... there was a boy at first, a boy treated us badly... a girl was attentive and with quite a bit of empathy......I no longer explain how the protocol was, the boy had little in his behavior.....In the end they didn't make it past next Sunday, I hope to have better luck. Greetings.
