Lovely Scotland Island paddling tour - Fabulous half day trip in beautiful scenery and easy paddling. Toured a circuit of Scotland Island and had a lunch break at Lovett Bay. Took a 20 minute walk to a lovely tropical waterfall. The guide Justin was very friendly and huge fun.

Fun and active, something different on the weekend. - We had such a beautiful day on Saturday (for May). I did the tour solo with two lovely girls from Orange who were in the double Kayak and our experienced and fit kayaker tour guide Daniel who explained everything beforehand as I had never kayaked before he was full of knowledge about the area also! We paddled around Scottish Island and then stopped at Little Bay? Dan took us for a look out short bush walk to these beautiful waterfalls, the water was running at these falls, took some photos the view was specular that looked over Pittwater we came back down then had afternoon tea that was provided by Dan just hit the spot it was lovely thankyou Dan and Tanya. The tour takes you around the Scotland Island and little bay, so if you have never paddled before, or are not particularly fit as I was solo it proved a little exhausting for me coming back, bit hard going as the wind picked up , Dan had to tow me a few times thanks so much Dan for being patient. I'm glad I didn't do this in summer as it would've been too exhausting for me, nice to do in autumn or spring, highly recommend tour for a local or tourists don't forget to bring your sneakers for the bush walk though.

What a great way to expore the Pittwater region - We thoroughly enjoyed the Discovery Kayaking Tour. Prior communication with Paddlecraft was very responsive, informative and uncomplicated, such as change of date, weather conditions, what to wear, parking possibilities etc. Helen and Phil fitted us with life vests and gave us a "dry" introduction to kayaking. All in a very personal pleasent and friendly fashion. On the water, Helen and Phil made sure everyone felt comfortable and safe. With various stops on the way, Phil gave very informative and passionate commentry on the Pittwater, the National Park's background, history, aboriginal background, flora and fauna and how to respect this environment. We stopped at a beach for a short and easy walk to the Elvina Waterfalls, again with very informative commentry on flora and bush tucker by Phill, followed by a moring tea break, all included in the tour. We definately recommend this tour. A totally different way to get to know the Pittwater region.

Pittwater discovery 1/2 day - We had a great morning on the water as I’m experienced kayakers. Helen was a wonderful guide. The morning tea was 😋 and the short bush walk to the waterfalls, delightful. Highly recommend for a unique perspective on that part of Sydney. Local or tourist would enjoy it.

Fabulous morning on beautiful Pittwater with Paddlecraft - I was wracking my brains for something interesting to do with my son, who was turning 16 in March, when I came across an ad on Airbnb for this tour. Immediately realised this was IT!! I got in touch with Helen, the owner, who was very quick to respond, and happy to accommodate my son, even though he is under 18. (He's an accomplished kayaker already, so we had no concerns there.). We arranged to take the tour with Phil (the fittest looking 60-something I have EVER met), and set off on our 10km paddle around the beautiful bays of Pittwater at 9.30 am on a beautiful March morning (They don't offer tours in the afternoon as the wind and waves pick up). We had hats, sunscreen and sunglasses. Phil provided us with water and plentiful snacks when we stopped for our 30 minute bush-walk halfway through the tour. We paddled our double kayak alongside Phil through swarms of jellyfish, into secret bays with mangroves just covered by the tide, and then stopped for morning tea and a walk to a waterfall that was not quite so splendid as it should have been due to the drought in NSW. Phil knew a lot about the area and the local flora and fauna, so there was no shortage of information, which we enjoyed. We felt in very capable hands. He told us that he's had to tow a couple of customers back to shore when the going gets too much. I have to admit I had aching shoulders after our 4 hours on the water, but the joy of the morning's activity, and the beauty of the area far outweighed that minor inconvenience. The tour does take you around the bay for the best part of 10km, so if you have never paddled before, or are not particularly fit, it might prove a little exhausting. I had not paddled for a couple of years, but got into it pretty quickly. We finished our day with a delicious lunch at the restaurant next to where we docked our kayak - service was a bit slow, but the food was delicious when it arrived. All in all, a perfect celebration of an important teen's birthday. Hope to do it again with the rest of the family one day!

Pittwater - Scotland Island - half a day tour - Phil was our guide. He was very knowledgeable about the nature and history of the place. We basically didnt have to take anything with us because he had enough supplies of water and food for all of us. He was also taking pictures of us on his waterproof GoPro and sent them to us later so we really didnt have to worry about anything at all and just enjoy. We also rescheduled once and then were late, but everybody was very understanding and flexible. The walk on the Island and the waterfall were beautiful and I recommend the trip to everybody! :)

This is a scam - please be aware - This is a scam. I bought this as a gift for my dad for fathers day and had payed in full for the experience a few days before. When we showed up to the location ready to go the company told us that Viator is a scam and that Viator have been stealing their information and taking the money. They told me that this has been happening for months and that they are working with the police. No tour guide, no lunch or snacks nothing that was listed in the booking was available. I had received multiple emails from Viator confirming my booking etc. Not sure who the scammer is but my $250 dollar experience was wasted when all my Dad and I did was rent a double kayak and do the experience ourselves.
