History became real and fasinating - I am not a history buff but our tour guide was so passionate and the information so detailed I couldn't help but be deeply engrossed in every thing he said. It was a hard day because we learned detailed information and saw pictures of the soldiers that lived and those that died under intense fighting conditions but that made me even more proud of our US military and Allied Forces (Canada and UK) who fought on the Normandy beaches. The Omaha Sector of the beach was a pivotal turning point in us winning the war against Nazi Germany so I highly recommend every adult take a tour so you can learn so much about how these brave men helped changed our world by beating the Germans under Hitler's rule.

Really Great Tour - We did a half day tour with Gwen to Omaha Beach, the American Cemetery and Pointe Du Hoc. Gwen is a very passionate guide. From the second we got in the car Gwen was explaining everything we were about to see. We got an amazing history lesson. He answered all our many questions and provided the details that make history come alive. His easy manner and extensive knowledge made for a truly memorable tour.

Visit to D-Day Beaches - Our guide, Yannick, was exceptional in every way. He is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about everything WWII history and the region; very kind, warm and accommodating; and had very good recommendations regarding accommodations and restaurants. Above all, he made our visit to Normandy especially special as he assisted in arranging a special escort to visit the gravesite of a distant, fallen cousin of mine buried at the American Cemetery in Colleville. I can't recommend Yannick and his company highly enough.
