FUN. My arms are tired by my heart is full - I went alone on the climbing trip and had a whole lot of fun. My guide was super cool and very experienced. You are able to climb at whatever pace and difficulty you would like. Very good

Best climbing in San Juan - Did a day climb with Diego. Outstanding! It had been awhile since I had climbed and Diego found some nice climbs to get back on the rock and then some more challenging climbs. Very enjoyable with fantastic limestone faces close to San Juan. Diego made it pleasant with his experience in setting up climbs and providing necessary climbing gear. I recommend most highly and will be coming back to climb with my daughter on our next trip to San Juan using Diego and Rocaliza!

Fantastic Day of Climbing! - Such a great trip! Climbing is as much about the company you keep as it is about climbing. Diego did not disappoint! First, Diego. He is a very skilled and knowledgeable guide with strict adherence to safety protocols while creating a relaxing, supportive environment. Moreover, just an all around engaging and kind individual for a day’s adventure. Second, Caliche Crag. Absolutely bullet hard limestone rock, that provides fantastic and varied climbing. Great for anyone’s first time or for the more advanced climber. I highly recommend Diego and climbing in Puerto Rico!

Awesome experience for a second year in a row! - It was great to climb with Diego again this year. This was my second year climbing with him where my adult children came along and each have their own climbing experience. He is knowledgeable of the area and able to find different kreg's to accommodate for experience level and weather conditions. This is why I chose Rocaliza again. Looking forward to our next trip to Puerto Rico.

Private climbing tour with Diego and WE SENT IT - We had an amazing guided climbing tour with Diego. He was flexible, knowledgeable, and fun to be around. Our group had a range of climbing experience and everyone was challenged. We learned new climbing skills and were able to hit all the routes we were interested in. The wall had some juicy jugs and thrilling moves. PR is a great and growing climbing destination. We will definitely book again next time we visit!

Outstanding experience rock climbing with Diego of Rocaliza Adventure Tours - My partner and I are newer climbers and we hired Diego for a half day of guided climbing. We are so glad we did! Diego was a fantastic guide and teacher- knowledgeable, efficient, friendly, safe, and professional. Diego is an AMGA certified single pitch guide who demonstrated his commitment to safety throughout our experience, from proper belay technique and communication to coming prepared with a pre-built quad, to stick clipping first bolts when appropriate. He quickly assessed our skill levels and ability and steered us towards climbs that were fun and appropriately challenging for us, offering encouragement and tips throughout, and working with us on technical skills that we are building, such as anchor cleaning, etc. Not only was Diego a fantastic climber and mentor, but he knows all the crags in P.R. and brought us to a lesser known crag (Meseta Fronti) in consideration of the very rainy weather the preceding week. It was perfectly dry and amazing! We had an awesome time climbing with Diego, felt totally safe and confident in his expertise, and enjoyed his chill and easygoing vibe! We will definitely hire Diego for future guiding in P.R. and highly recommend him!

Diego takes climbing to the next level - Very informative and I always felt super secure while climbing the rock walls (even when I slipped). A tremendous amount of fun, so much better than a plastic climbing wall. I'm going back to do it again.

Try it now before the crowds discover PR climbing - Diego was an amazing rock climbing guide and was happy to craft the experience to my desired balance of climbing and learning new skills. He really knew his stuff. I felt safe climbing with him and he brought all the equipment I needed. The climbing location had really cool limestone features and several different areas all of which had no crowds. I would recommended the Monagas area for people who are comfortable climbing 5.8 and above. There are plenty of much harder routes that I didn't even attempt. The location was super convenient, a short Uber ride from Old San Juan, but after a few minutes walk into the forest it was hard to believe you were still so close to the city. I also had no problem getting an Uber for the return trip. TIP: direct your Uber driver to "Monagas Rock Climbing (a.k.a. Nuevo Bayamón)" Great price for a full day with a rock climbing guide too.

Awesome Half Day in Monagas - My partner and I did a half day in Monagas climbing in the 5.8-5.9 range. It was our first time climbing outside, and our guide Nicole was amazing. She taught us a lot about the area we were climbing in, made sure we were safe, and took some awesome photos of us as well. All around excellent experience.
