💯 Great Company to book. 2KAdventures Tour - We had an amazing time with our tour guide and all our tour excursion guides. They were very knowledgeable of the island and their job. I would definitely book with this company again in the future. This company went over and beyond and made sure we had a great time.

Great experience with a lot to offer - This experience takes you all over. The guide was easy to find, and we got to go ride ATVs, hold several animals, try different kinds of Honduran chocolate, taste rum and rum cakes, see a bunch of different areas, and our guide even took us to try some of the local food. Honestly, it was worth every penny.

Book directly with 2K even if you are on a cruise line - we enjoyed our private tour of the island along with seeing the monkeys and sloths, doing a bit of snorkelling and chocolate tasting and then ATV ride. The monkeys and sloths were probably the highlight for us as the guy who gave us the tour was so passionate about the animals. Our driver from 2K Adventure Tours was very patient with my father who didn't always want to get out of the van. I was nervous about booking directly with 2K instead of using the cruise's excursion but this was definitely better. We had a van to ourselves and didn't worry when my father decided to opt out.

Great time with 2Ks adventure tours - We had a great time! We just followed the path left to gate 1 off the port and saw our hosts in yellow shirts with 2Ks adventure tours signs. Our driver took us to a place to get souvenirs inexpensively and a great view of of the ocean and our ship from the hilltop. The people are very nice and you will not feel threatened. Then we went to the ATV and monkey and sloth tour. This was our favorite thing we did! One of the sloths had just had a baby a few days before and I got pics. The sloths are very light and very gentle animals. The monkeys are crazy and want guava fruit! Lol You are going to get muddy on the ATV tour so wear clothes that will dry easily. We also got to see and feed some parrots. We went to a small chocolate factory that’s like in a house and saw them making it and got a short informational session on the history and how it’s made. Then we got to sample them all and purchase. 4 for $20 and you get a free bar. There’s is very different from American chocolate. I also bought the nibs which were cheaper and tasted way better than the ones I ordered on Amazon. Then we went to the beach and got a beautiful dream catcher and keychains. Then on our way back to the port she stopped at the Roatan sign and we got some cool pics. The prices are the best, they guaranteed us to get back in time and we did. Great time. Everything is cash so bring cash for everything or get nothing.

Wonderful Experience - My first experience with this company and they were GREAT to work with. I asked them a lot of questions via Facebook Messenger prior to arriving and they were very responsive and helpful before I even booked with them. We arrived via a cruise ship and met up with the team. We had a wonderful day touring Roatan with our driver James. He told us about the area and things while driving us around. We went to a look out point, drove on beach, and then visited the Sloth, monkey and bird park. This was the part of our cruise we were all looking forward to and it did not disappoint! We had so much fun with this. We also did the ATV excursion at this same area. We had to wait a little bit for a prior tour to return, however our guide (forgot his name) was a lot of fun and we drove around for about an hour and got a little muddy. After a quick rinse off we hoped back in car and stopped at a chocolate and a rum shop. Then went by the Roatan sign before heading back to our ship. We had a wonderful day and I would highly recommend this company.

An adventure at a reasonable price - I was looking forward to seeing the “jungle” from the seat of my QUAD with my wife. Our driver “JJ” was excellent and spoke fluent English and was very friendly, helpful and attentive during the entire trip. When we got there after about a half hour drive it became clear this is a developing economy and our tourism dollars are extremely important. As it turned out, the “quads” were no name 2WD China knock offs. They were ok, electric start with fwd/reverse gearbox. The “jungle” was a series of switchback patches closer to a cow pasture, certainly not what you would consider “jungle”. Some sections very muddy, that added to the challenge. Lasted about 1/2 hour. Clearly they are trying to make improvements so future tourists should have a better experience. Then we went through the gift shop to the wild animals. Clean cages, well kept birds, various monkeys, etc. JJ took us to the chocolate factory and the Rum tasting place. Both were ok. The rum place was very nice. Then JJ took us back and stopped along the way for pictures. All in all an adventure at a reasonable price.

BEWARE of ATV tours in Roatan - Freak accident on an ATV tour in Roatan. We disembarked from our cruise and booked one of the local vendors right off of the pier where several tour agencies line up to sell tours. We were traveling with 2 young children. We agreed to do 1hr ATV ride, animal encounter, and end up in the beach. We arrive at the ATV location and the place is sketchy. No helmets were provided for the kids but we insisted so they found some that didn’t even fit properly. The tour guides were like 16-17 years old. We begin driving. About 10 minutes into the tour we begin climbing steep hills with cliffs and no railings. The trail was dangerous and not for beginners nor a family group with young children. The ATVs were clearly not equipped for those steep climbs. My ATV gives out midway through the second climb and turns off. I immediately lose control over the ATV. I can’t accelerate or stop. I have no control as the ATV begins gaining speed on its way down. I crash into a wall and the ATV flips over with my 6 year old son and I. My husband also loses control and flips over on his ATV as well with our younger son. We all got injured and ended up in the ship’s emergency room. My husband got a dislocated shoulder. My kids were fine thankfully other than a few scrapes and bruises. The tour guides lied about the terrain and safety of the trip. It was not appropriate for kids and not appropriate for the type of excursion that we booked. They also tried to blame me by insinuating that my ATV gave out because I wasn’t accelerating enough which makes no sense because my entire ATV shut off despite maximum acceleration. The whole experience was horrific and poorly handled by the guides. Never again. Please don’t book these tours off the ships, especially those involving equipment that barely get proper maintenance nor safety checks. Hoping this prevents another accident. Stay safe!
