Highlights
  • Batu Caves - After a 30-minute scenic drive, arrive at the Batu Caves to discover the home of Hindu shrines and various religious deities. Listen as your guide explains the Hindu roots of the nation and climb the 272 steps to the golden statue of Lord Murugan.
  • Thean Hou Temple - Thean Hou Temple, a 6-tiered pagoda temple atop Robson Heights. Completed in 1987 and officially opened in 1989, it was built by the Hainanese community of Kuala Lumpur and is dedicated to the goddess Tian Hou (The Heavenly Mother).
  • National Mosque (Masjid Negara) - see the stunning National Mosque of Malaysia (Masjid Negara), set in 13 acres of beautiful gardens. Admire the bold approach taken by its architects who designed it in the late 1950s as a symbol of the aspirations of the newly independent nation
  • Petaling Street Market - Continue to China Town to enter the site of dozens of restaurants and food stalls tended by Chinese, Indian, Malay and Bangladeshi traders. Watch as they serve up local favorites, such as curry noodles, Hokkien mee (a Fujian noodle dish), ikan bakar (barbecued fish) and asam laksa (a sour, fish and tamarind-based soup).
  • Little India Brickfields - Vibrant Brickfields is home to Little India, a colorful maze of textile shops and jewelry stores, plus low-key restaurants serving dosa pancakes and banana-leaf curries. Over by KL Sentral station there’s a mix of laid-back trattorias, upscale bistros and classy cocktail bars. Sri Kandaswamy Kovil is a Hindu temple with golden statues, while Buddhist Maha Vihara temple features a bodhi tree and domed pagoda

Bestest cultural tour - This was our first visit to KL and we only had a couple of days so we chose this tour to give a flavour of the city and of Malaysia. It was spot on. A Fantastic tour to achieve just that, It was made by the knowledge and enthusiasm of our guide Nantha. It was very clear that he is proud of his homeland and was keen to ensure that we got as much out of the tour as possible. The commentary was fascinating and very informative and went from the origins of the country and its various ethnic groups to present day life in the Malaysia. If you have limited time in KL this is a really great way to understand a bit about the culture of the country. I highly recommend it. Great value for money with hotel pick up. We also appreciated the fact he gave us the information we needed at a given site and then allowed us to explore that site having been educated. Nantha was provided us a lot of information for things to do , place to go and how to get there in KL. Safe, organised, value for money and thoroughly enjoyable. Ask for Nantha!

Great tour - flexible, comfortable and interesting! - Although I had booked a group tour I ended up having a private tour as no other guests chose this time. The vehicle was great - spacious, comfortable, clean and air conditioned. The driver/guide was excellent, flexible and knowledgeable, happy to share insights into Malaysian culture. The driver was also happy to time the tour to work for me and around the traffic, giving me plenty of time to explore each attraction. Recommend.

Private Tour - Had a really nice day with the family on this tour. We were picked up at our hotel by our tour guide Captain Vera who was extremely friendly and nice to my 3 children. He brought us to the batu caves and told us all about the history of the cave and the statues, we then went to the Chinese temple for a walk around and some pictures. The tour finished with a drive through little India which was beautiful. I would highly recommend this tour and Captain Vera for anyone travelling to Kuala Lumpur, it really was a fantastic day.

Good way to see KL sights - The tour guide shared good information about KL & Malaysia. Tour was amended to see the Kings Palace which I appreciated. Was disappointed we didn't stop in at Petaling Street, I was looking forward to that part of the tour.
