Extraordinary. - This tour exceeded my expectations MEANINGFULLY.. Although I am typically not easily impressed, Istvan was impressive. He was punctual, is truly a dedicated and knowledgeable historian and tailored my tour to address what interested me regarding the Battle of the Bulge. We travelled in his automobile and I was very comfortable. As an added bonus we discussed a broad range of historical topics and he made suggestions of what else I could see in the future including World War I Battlefields and other World War II Battlefield Sites. We also discussed the possibility of a Franco-Prussian War tour in the future. He is the real deal. Thank You Istvan, I am very appreciative.

Best WWII Historian - "Wolf" is an outstanding historian, very knowledgeable & resourceful. He was quite thorough & I feel I got a better education from him on WWII than I did in all of my high school years. I highly recommend him, he also happens to be super likeable with a charming personality.

Belgium tour - We came to Belgium to visit ww1 places and the places our great uncle served and died during ww2 in early 1945. We learned new facts and corrected some family history. Our tour with István (Wolf) was an amazing experience. He was kind, easygoing and helpful in all aspects of our travels. He helped us find an obscure location of a U.S. temporary cemetery used during the war where he was interred until his remains were returned to utah. It was a wonderful day and would recommend István’s tours to anyone wanting a personal experience in Bastogne

Experience history with an excellent guide - In three days, we visited the locations where the last major western battle of World War II took place in December 1944. History Wolf was perfectly prepared and maximally flexible, so we designed the entire program in such a way that it would be meaningful and fun for both adults and children. I can only recommend it to everyone who is a fan of history, tanks, and delicious beers!

Istvan was an amazing... - Istvan was an amazing guide, sharing his knowledge of the area and battles and personalizing the tour to our interests. Our first stop was to see a Sherman tank memorial and pick up delicious lunch supplies at a local bakery. Then we visited the Bastogne War Museum, a very immersive museum. Next we went to Jack's Wood (Bois du Jacques), the site of the battles, including foxholes of the 101st Airborne Division and the memorial of the fallen Easy Company members. We added a stop a refreshment stop at Chouffe Brewery and ended our day in La Rouche to see a G13 Hetzer. We really appreciated the pick up and drop off at our hotel. It was a long day but a must do when visiting Belgium.
