Learn Basel On A Walking Tour. - We did an introduction walking tour of Basel with Joan. He was very engaging & very knowledgeable of the entire area.
We learned a lot and had fun. We recommend this tour especially if you are short on time.

Wonderful tour with Ray - Ray was a wonderful guide, he showed us around the old part of Basel and shared interesting stories about life in Basel and how it was in old ages. Would highly recommend!

Great tour of Basel - Our tour guide, Lina, was filled with facts and energy. The time with her flew by as we walked by the many interesting sites in Basel. She left us with a number of good suggestions of additional sites and activities within Basel. She also ensured we fully understood how to beat utilize the local Tram system to get around Basel.

We had the best tour guide - Lena was our tour guide. She was
Wonderful. So knowledgeable about Basel. The love and admiration she has for her city and country was very obvious
She covered everything we wanted and even offered a suggestion on taking the train to Paris. We did as she suggested and it was a great decision.

Basel by Dusk - The tour guide Ray was terrific. Very knowledgeable about the city of Basel. Showed us the highlights and some hidden treasures. Unfortunately two things happened that prevent me from assigning 5 stars. Firstly, the tour was scheduled months ago and at the last minute the time was changed from 1PM (daylight) to 445PM (dusk). Thus, much of the tour was seen by street light and not sunshine. Secondly, the guide seemed to have many tours that day and was approximately a half hour late. Apparently Ray had to help the previous tour that was very noble of him. The central office was responsive and made an effort to keep us informed of the difficulties.

Tour Did Not Take Place - The tour did not take place, coordinations were made but between the tour guide and I we were unable to agree on a time and date.

Hard to rate since guide was a no show - Our guide was a no show to the location we were provided. Another couple had the same experience so pretty certain we were in the right spot. We did get a full refund timely for the cost of the tour.

Viator/Venez Discover a Disaster. Avoid dealing with them in Basel Switzerland - There are no pictures since there was no tour. The tour guide did not show up. Efforts to reach the tour company were futile they don’t answer their phone either for customers or Viator. Viator has no leverage with the Basel local company so can’t resolve this bad behavior. I would avoid Viator for anything in Basel and nearby Swiss locations. We missed the opportunity to see Basel because we already had other plans for the other days we were in Basel.
