Great day - Kuranda village was a bit rushed, but pickup and drop off was seamless and there were close options for meeting points which were close to my hotel. I enjoyed the variety of excursions throughout the day.

Perfectly paced for a jammed packed day - It was a perfectly paced tour for a jammed packed day. The tour gave us maps and times so it was very easy to know how long to stay at each activity. It was incredible seeing the rainforest, petting kangaroos, experiencing the culture, and seeing all of the butterflies. Highly recommend

Well organized and fun. ... - Well organized and fun. A lot of activities packed into one day, so you get your money’s worth. There is no guide to stay with you throughout the trip. You get various drivers including hotel pickup and a schedule of where and when to go to the activities. BBQ lunch food was just okay. The

Amazing day out! - A fun day out! We took the scenic train to kuranda. The views are amazing and lucky for us, due to the rain a couple fo days ago (or so) we had a nice view of the barron falls. We went to the butterfly sanctuary which was alright but nothing too special. I enjoyed the Aboriginal dance, and the talk about the Aboriginal culture and how to use a boomerang. We briefly went to the wildlife park after that, it was small, but still a good sight to see. Especially loved seeing the saltie, Jack (the ripper), he is MASSIVE! We finished the day with the skyrail. Spectacular views.

So much packed in one... - So much packed in one day, you defn get your money's worth. Overall very well organized and the tour guides throughout were great. It was a little confusing when you first get off the train in Kuranda as they didnt really explain that you were essentially on your own until the bus arrives to the butterfly exhibit. That said, I skipped the butterfly exhibit and went to bird world instead (extra fees). Just have to be sure to be back at the butterfly entrance in time to catch the bus up to the rainforeststation, but seeing and hand feeding the birds was so much better. Also you need to make a reservation at the gift shop as soon as you arrive to the rainforestation if you want to get a photo holding a koala...this special experience is not included or really discussed during the tour and is easily missed out on.

Must go and see!! - What a fun experience! The train ride was so exciting! We loved going to the rainforest station! We do wish we were given more time to walk through the shops in the village! There looked like a lot of unique items. The skyrail back was absolutely breath taking!

A must do for everyone - Highly recommend going up to Kuranda on the train and come back on the skyrail. The train is a couple of hours of pure relaxing enjoyment and the skyrail is great. You have to stop at the Falls so on the skyrail as the views are great

A must-do experience in Cairns! - A must-do experience when in Cairns. We took the scenic train ride up to Kuranda and the Skyrail down. Our young girls (2 and 6) and still talking about the Skyrail - it was the best experience for them (and us). Absolutely amazing views over the rainforest, rivers, waterfalls and Cairns. The train was very relaxing, though the girls got a bit restless (2 hour drive). We were under the impression that you could buy snacks/coffee on the train, however was told (on board) that this was not an option. I would recommend to bring heaps of little snacks if you travel with kids. There was free water on board.

Moderate - Train and skyrail is nice. The amphibian ride was nothing on. And the butterflies are nice to see, but not special. The village is funny, but you don't have time for that if you have booked all inn.
