Departure to the boarding point starts around 8:20 AM, with specific times varying based on your location. Once on the motorboat, the journey along the river takes about 40 minutes to reach the village of Vassouras.

In the rainy season, the area boasts deep lagoons ideal for swimming, but the main highlight is the lively capuchin monkeys. Following this, the boat continues to the village of Mandacaru, where visitors can ascend the Preguiças Lighthouse for a breathtaking panoramic view. The area also features local craft shops, traditional caipirinhas, and exotic-flavored ice creams.

Finally, the trip proceeds to Caburé Beach, a distinctive sand peninsula bordered by the river on one side and the sea on the other. Lunch will be served at one of the beachside restaurants—please adhere to your pilot’s guidance. The return trip usually starts around 2:30 PM, with an expected arrival back in town at approximately 3:30 PM.
