A walk to remember - What a wonderful and unique experience being able to walk beside the horses on this journey. The weather was phenomenal and so were the beautiful surroundings. The horses were lovely and being able to spend time and bond with them, learn and understand them as we walked was such a deep experience. I had Boneco who had quite a history and definitely challenged me at the beginning of the walk but towards the end we learned from each other and began to move in sync as we walked, it was an overhwelming experience and would highly recommend. Sanskin and the his sanctuary community were wonderful and warm hosts. Such a genuine experience.

Wonderful horse walk! - The holistic horse walk was an amazing experience through the beautiful nature of the Algarve... I was used to ride on a horse, but the connection you make with a horse in this way is super special. Sakshin shows and shares his passion, how to connect with the horses in a natural way. He and the horses learned me to be fully in the present moment and to open my heart. We had beautiful conversations, fun and it made me feel completely relaxed. I can strongly recommend this!

A walk toward yourself - What a pleasure it was to walk with horses. I did a few walk with Sakshin’s horses. Personally I love to walk from time to time, what a beautiful way to go back to myself ; but I think a walk with horse accelerate our relationship to the world, people, nature and yourself. In less than 2 hours I succeed to enjoy a connection with the horse. Algarve’s sceneries are truly beautiful and Sakshin’s place is lovely, it’s definitely something to do !

An unforgettable experience - A very unique and unforgettable experience that we definitely enjoyed. A small group made the experience very personal and special. Unless you have been around horses before, this will definitely teach you a lot new about them. As the host's description says – they do reflect your attitude and behavior. For instance, when I felt nervous at times, my four-legged partner reflectively displayed some discontent. But once you are calm with it, you can bond with the animal very easily. The location of the tour is great, especially if you're coming from Lagos, and the views are wonderful. Make sure to wear comfortable clothes and closed shoes. And come with an open mind!

One of the best adventures with animals in my life - That was one of the best adventures with animals in my life. I didn't have experience with horses but Sakshin made a beautiful introduction for us and horses were really nice. I didn't expected that it will be so mindfulness and moving time. I learned a lot not only about horses but also about myself. Amazing place with spiritual and noncommercial vibe, which is really difficult to find nowadays. I'm really thankful and want to go back again!

Beautiful insights through the horses - at the start of my walk i was a bit afraid of horses. Sakshin made me so confident with those big animals that at the end I could do nothing more then love them. And I learned that I don't have to be fearful for anything in life. A wonderful experience - We had a wonderful time with this two amazing humans Sakshin and Charlotte . Our two girls still talking about your beautiful horses and sayings ,when they grow up thy will come and work with you lol . Awesome, I became one with the heard and powerful inside myself. This strong feeling still lasts. - Awesome, really awesome: I became one with the heard, totally relaxed and somehow powerful inside myself. This great feeling still lasts. To be with horses like this, you should not miss. it was just a 5 min drive from Bensafrim, A22, Lagos to Barão de São João. Before going for a walk, we were allowed to follow Sakshin to the herd, to get in touch with the horses step by step. We became all so calm and relaxed, and as the first horse lay down, an other guest set net down to this horse. Just a few minutes later I took this picture here, showing a mixed group of horses and humans, like meditating or relaxing and breathing deeply. Awesome. After about 40 minutes we went for the booked walk, which was also a wonderful experience. The horses, rescued horses, are full of trust and show so much happy energy while they could run around complete free at the place we walked to. And they came back with us on their own will. For me it was a great experience, the "top" of my Algarve vacation. Good to know, that the money I payed goes directly tho this horse sanctuary. Peter (52), Germany

After having paid, confirmed we were on our way, the owner cancelled 1 hour before by email with no phone call. - At least honor the order and then hold your words. You wrote me by email : "I'm sorry but the walk started at 1400 instead of 1600. It was busy and it slipped through my attention to write this to you. The other guests couldn't wait due to other appointments. We are back at 1600 and we can do horse cuddling." We waited at your gate 1 hour from 15h45 (15 min before the scheduled time) until 16h45. Nobody showed up and nobody contacted us. Too sad.
