Very positive - We were only there for three and a half days. We mainly looked at the Gaudi buildings. We loved them. It's worth going there early, it's incredibly crowded. Other than that, we really enjoyed the various market halls. Tapas, ham, fish, everything was delicious.

Planning your precious little time in Barcelona - 3.5 days in Barcelona...what to do? So I contacted Dory at Barcelona Day Tours and asked for their recommendations. She was so wonderful. We emailed back a forth several times....her recommendations, things we were interested in, things that might not be good for us since we were traveling with my elderly parents, etc. In the end, she put together a 3.5 day itinerary for the 4 of us that we would have never been able to do on our own. You just don't know how much time things take, traffic in the city, the ins and outs, etc. Turns out Barcelona is a bit like NYC. Lots of traffic, no place to park, crowded. Dory planned our whole time with tours, guides, drivers and tickets. She gave us options and a week before our trip, when she learned the Picasso Museum would be closed the day we planned to go, she rearranged our itinerary and the tickets to accommodate this without any loss of sightseeing. We were busy but we felt like we saw a lot. Of our 14 day European tour (Spain, France, Italy), our 3 days in Barcelona in the company of Armando, George, Angel and Mar in their Mercedes touring vans were truly the best part. On Day 1, Armando picked us up from the airport in Barcelona and spent 4 hours touring us through the city. He gave us history and culture and current events in Barcelona. We connected with the city through Armando. He was lively, good English, witty, smart and attentive. During this tour, we saw La Segrada Familia with skip the line tickets arranged for by Dory and at the conclusion of the tour, Armando was waiting for us when we were done and whisked us away to our hotel for much needed sleep. Day 2, Armando picked us up in the morning, earlier than planned to avoid the traffic on his recommendation (8:15am) and drove us to Montserrat. What an amazing place. He stopped at strategic points on the drive so we could look up and marvel at this breathtaking place. He provided backdrop and history and walked with us to the monastery where he left us to explore on our own for 2 hours. When we were done, he met up with us and drove us to the heart of the oldest part of Barcelona where cars cannot go and dropped us as close to the Picasso museum as possible and gave us clear walking instructions and the tickets. Day 3, George picked us up at our hotel and took us to a family owned winery where we learned about the owner who was ahead of his time, the organic farming of grapes, the challenges they have in the area and tasted the fruits of their labor. Then he took us to another very small, locally owned winery where they make Cava and had an informative tour, tasting and lunch. At the end of the day, George drove us back to our hotel. George speaks perfect English, is a calm and competent driver (which is essential in Barcelona). Day 4, Angel (driver) and Mar (tour guide) picked us up at our hotel and took us to Casa Mila. Mar was a wonderful tour guide and brought Gaudi's Casa Mila to life for us on our very private tour. She explained life in Barcelona at the time this apartment was constructed and the social norms at the time. Angel picked us up right outside Casa Mila and navigated the very busy traffic of Barcelona, bringing us to another famous Gaudi building, Casa Batllo. While we didn't specifically tour this site, Mar walked us around the area and pointed out items of interest and the features of this property that contrasted with Casa Mila. After we saw as much as time would allow, Angel expertly navigated us to the cruise port and deposited us to the front door where we left for the rest of our trip...wishing we could take the Barcelona Day Tours team with us!! BDT arranged everything. Tours, tickets, drivers and guides. There was never a glitch. Their communication was excellent, keeping us informed every step of the way. Dory was a dream to work with and Everyone's English was excellent and all the drivers/guides were engaging and provided insight on the life of Catalunyans. While everything was planned, we also had plenty of unplanned time and the BDT staff made restaurant recommendations, etc. I highly recommend Barcelona Day Tours. They take the guessing and worry out of planning your precious little time in their beautiful city! I only wish there was a company and team like BDT in every city we visited.

Barcelona Day tours review - We did the Barcelona City Tour and Familia Sagrada with Barcelona DayTours. Noelia the tour guide was very knowledgeable and gave us a lot of information. Ali, the driver was a great driver and I happened to leave a bag which has my foldable walikg cane and a jacket that I like to wear. Ali came back and delivered back the bag to me. Moises did our Monserrat tour and he was an excellent tour guide. I wouldn't hesitate doing business again with Barcelona Day Tours

Complete Catalonian highlights - This tour was totally awesome - Montserrat was beautiful (although it was a cloudy and rainy day - nevertheless the beauty of the place was still quite evident) and the tour of the sites of Barcelona was outstanding (as I am fascinated by the architecture of Gaudi this was a dream tour), Skipping the line is also the way to go - it saves so much time that it is well worth the extra that you pay. Ending the day at La Sagrada Familia was perfect as we could then enter the Cathedral and take our time viewing it as it was the last stop of the day. I have been many times to the Cathedral over the years and it has been interesting to watch the continuing progress in their quest to complete it which only added to my interest. I highly recommend this your - especially if you have limited time in Barcelona.

Nice small tour to see highlights of Barcelona. - Nice overall tour of Barcelona. Love it was a small group tour. The drive up to Montserrat were breathtaking. Even in late September, it was a bit warm so bringing water was a must especially for walking around Park Guell.

Great Day in Barcelona and Montserrat! - We are a family of four that were on a cruise ending in Barcelona. Two of us had never been to Barcelona, therefore we all decided to to an all day private tour. We LOVED the day with our guide, Fabio! He provided us with so much historical information that truly enhanced our experience. He was polite, courteous and always made sure that we were comfortable and had what we needed. I will continue to use Barcelona Day Tours when we return to Barcelona, and would highly recommend them to others.
