I Would Do This Again! - This experience was both authentic and enjoyable. We began by walking to the market to purchase fresh ingredients for our cooking class. Then back to the lab to create culinary greatness! Before preparing our meal, Chef Andrea taught us the proper way to make Sangria! Chef Andrea was amazing and his sous chef Sally was the best! After demonstrating proper cutting technique, how to devein prawns, and proper preparation of the mussels, he headed over the tools so we could partake in the preparation. (I was on mussel duty and had the pleasure of preparing the fish). After helping to prepare the dish, we enjoyed the Paella & Sangria. It was absolutely delicious!!!!

I would recommend Andreas if your looking for a paella cooking experience.👍🏻 - Andreas our guide was very informative and spoke good English. There was quite a bit of walking but not too much if you’re reasonably healthy. Making the paella was very interesting and fun. Group helped in the preparation. The end result was very good.

Super fun way to have a tasty dinner - We really enjoyed the market shopping tips from Andreas and the demonstration of making “quick” sangria and two types of paella! There was plenty to eat and drink and it was fun to have hands-on involvement in the prep. A great way to have fresh, authentic paella and meet some great people.

Flavorful paella! - This class was fun and included a paella making portion and sangria making. No tapas included. The paella was the best tasting paella we've had on the trip, better than restaurants we've tried in Barcelona!

Enjoyable - There were some great things about this an activity and some things they could do better. The food was delicious and the chef, his helpers were great. I’ve done this type of activity before in Italy and I think they could have spent more time in the market, discussing local foods and the history behind them, sampling unique tasters to the area. Also, the advertisement said tapas were included and they weren’t. So, there really wasn’t enough food for everyone to leave full. I also felt rushed out following our meal because another group was coming in. It was good, my family enjoyed it, but it wasn’t great.
