Montjuic Private Tour - Our tour guide was amazing, he came to pick my mum and I up from the hotel and we took the metro to Montjuic Mountain! We chose the 10:00 start time which was a good idea as we managed to get to Teleferic de Montjuic before most people and got to enjoy panoramic views of Barcelona! He was so knowledgeable and answered all our questions well! We then went to the Olympic Park which was within walking distance, and walked through the park to go to Plaza España!

So glad we chose this tour! - Our guide met us at our hotel in Barcelona & we rode with her on the subway to Montjuic & then via bus to the Olympic Park and on to the museum. It was a fabulous day. She spoke English well & did a pretty good job with the history & culture of the things we visited. (She's still learning the detailed history but she did a terrific job.) She had a fun personality & gave us a nice tour.

Best tour guide ever, really! - I went on that tour with my 3 kids, oldest 12, youngest 8. We all loved the tour, the castle, the Plaza de Espagna and the views were amazing. That said, the best thing about this trip was our tour guide Jorge! He was knowledgeable, funny, and he had the kids attention all the time, in addition he was very attentive to the kids, and answered all their questions, and kept us all safe! Thank you Jorge! We all loved you!

Delightful Tour - On our last day in Barcelona we took a private tour in the afternoon with Jorge. He met us at our hotel and we taxied to Montjuic. He was very informative but did not overwhelm us with too many details. It was a wonderful way to see the sights of Montjuic and he was terrific! One would not get the same experience but trying to tour it on your own.

If you're like me- you hate signing... -
If you're like me- you hate signing up for a tour and arriving only to find out there are 50 other people on the tour and you will be following the leader with the umbrella or flag. Nothing can scream tourist more. This is the exact opposite of that- a private tour! Walking and seeing the sights with a local was a breath of fresh air. Our tour guide, Jorge, arrived on time meeting us in the lobby of our hotel. He was extremely friendly, professional, and knowledgeable of the area and the history of Barcelona. He came prepared with a binder full of historical pictures and showed us what Barcelona looked like at the time we were discussing and the important people that helped shape the city. You can tell he had a passion for what he does. Jorge definitely will teach you things about Barcelona that you never knew. We were never rushed. Jorge kept reminding us that this was our tour and we can take as much time as we wanted or ask as many questions as we want in any of our locations. He also played photographer for my husband and I- we got so many great pictures. Jorge also asked about us and shared many of his own experiences about living in Barcelona, his education and travels. He made us feel very comfortable like we were all old friends. At the end of the tour we all sat and had a coffee together included in the price of the tour and Jorge provided us with a map of the city where he had taken the time to circle the main sights of Barcelona. This might be more expensive than a group tour but it was well worth the extra money.

Ok tour - Well first off it says ‘pick up’. At your hotel. Not meet. So I assumed it was by car.we walked and went by metro then the cable car. Carolyn was very nice. I believe she said this was her first tour for this site, which was obvious at some points We heard all about a fabulous pool for diving..but could ever see it.the cafe was closed etc..you end up way down at the large circle. No mention as to places to eat up top..we walked back to the museum. ..after an ok lunch in the top floor of the bullfight ring now mall there were a few places to eat outside..up top…a lovely restaurant in the museum and a cafeteria.. there is some little village but no mention of it..not too far away. There is also a cafe in the miro. museum. We took a cab back
