- Mosaicos Barcelona MOSAICCOS (Trencadís) - Immerse yourself in the world of Gaudí for two hours. Following a brief introduction to Antonio Gaudí’s technique, el Trencadís, participants will learn to use the tools and create their own mosaic artwork in Gaudí’s mosaic style: “el Trencadís.” Options for decoration include a photo frame, salamander, heart, fish, elephant, cat, dog, seahorse, box top, placemats, tray, or a custom square design (such as the Sagrada Familia). The bases for these decorative items are made of wood. Participants will work with ceramic tiles available in various colors. If you wish to participate in the workshop using Tiffany Glass, there is an additional charge of €20 for this material.
⚠️ Please note that the artwork created during the workshop will need to be grouted by the staff. Typically, the finished piece can be collected later in the afternoon or the following morning if the workshop occurs in the afternoon.

You have the option to use either glass or ceramic to create your own distinctive piece of art like a photo frame, box top, elephant or other decorative items utilizing Gaudí’s technique.

Angelika Heinbach, the owner, was honored with the ‘Mestre Artesà divulgatiu’ (Master craftsman diploma) for work and promotion of this Art. The award was presented by the President of the Generalitat de Catalunya at the Palau of Generalitat in Barcelona. In 2019, a collaboration with Casa Batlló was initiated as part of the UNESCO World Heritage Volunteers project titled “The Restoration of Casa Batlló, from inside to beyond its walls”
