Great day in Montserrat - Frank was great! Very informative & personable. The views were amazing! The downhill hike was challenging for some of our group and was very encouraging and helpful.

Top notch tour to Monserrat with UNIque Tours Barcelona - We had a wonderful 6-hour day trip from Barcelona to Monserrat with UNIque Tours Barcelona. Our guide Jordi was also our driver. The meeting point was easy to find and the van (1 of 2) was comfortable during the one hour drive there. Jordi was a great driver and gave us a little background on Monserrat during our drive. Once at the monastery, he gave us more specific information about the history, what we were going to see and suggestions of things not to miss, including his favorite chapel and a local food (cheese and honey) for purchase at the farmer’s market outside the monastery. It was delicious! When it came time for the hike we were given two options because Jordi and his colleague were both there that day. We could take the funicular up and walk down the mountain or hike up and down. We chose the funicular and hiked down with Jordi’s colleague whose name I missed. The hike was an hour and 15 minutes and quite steep at times. Most of the path was paved, which made it easier. We passed many beautiful overlooks and a small church which wasn’t open. We had about 45 minutes free time before heading back to Barcelona to visit the gift shop, cafeteria and farmer’s market. Jordi and his colleague were both friendly, knowledgable, accommodating and fluent in multiple languages. They made our day trip one to remember.

Day trip to Montserrat - Great day trip to Montserrat from Barcelona. Our driver and guide was Frank. Overall, it was an amazing day. Montserrat was stunning and we thoroughly enjoyed the history lesson. Frank was a fantastic guide and went out of his way to make sure we enjoyed the trip! Highly recommend!!

Best half day trip out of Barcelona. A great trip with a wonderful guide (JORDI) well worth the time and money. - From Barcelona you can’t beat this for a half day activity: transportation, park entry, gondola ticket, beautiful scenery, exercise, history, all at a great price with a uniquely qualified and interesting guide. JORDI is not only a professional guide but also leads climbing trips scaling the peaks that you will see. So he brings an in depth perspective that adds to the experience. He also set it up for the best chance of good weather and smaller crowds (early morning start). AWESOME TRIP!

Unique monastery and beautiful hiking. - Jordi was a great guide. He was personable and knew all the essential facts needed for the monastery and the hike. He also knew good spots to take a quick stop for facts and photos along the way. The monastery is beautiful with its own unique history. The hike itself is not terribly difficult (just a very large incline for the first half) and a very scenic location. Overall worth the trip and only an hour away from the city. Jordi kept us moving at an easy but steady pace to ensure the timelines were maintained. Highly recommended.

Highlight of our trip to Barcelona! - This tour was FANTASTIC! This was the highlight of our trip to Barcelona. Both Uni and Frank were great guides. They took excellent care of us, were very friendly and made everyone feel comfortable. I cannot recommend them highly enough. My entire family had a great day and have not stopped talking about it. Montserrat is breathtakingly beautiful and Frank and Uni made sure that we saw all that Montserrat had to boast! We were sorry when the day was over!

Fantastic 1/2 day trip - Was the highlight of our Barcelona trip. JORDI, who was our guide, was very nice and knowledgeable - he gets top marks! First took us on a great tour of the Montserrat monastery and the surrounding area. Then a pleasant walk a little up in the mountains - and with a superb view.
