Personal and perfect - The views were amazing, and the cava winery experience was very personal (and delicious). My husband had done a lot of research about cava wines and was very impressed with the opportunity to see everything in real life.

Great day out! - Fabulous small group tour. A great day out to Montserrat before the crowds. And a wonderful wine experience at a local, family run winery. Great if you like tours but NOT crowds. Our guide Jordi was great!

A must-do - This trip was perfect and Jordi was a lovely tour guide. Monserrat is beautiful, plenty of time to explore it though wish we could have seen the Black Madonna. But the star of the tour was the winery tour. What a unique and fantastic experience. Great food and wine and very educational. I still have 5 days left in my trip but suspect this will be the highlight of the trip for me!

Highlight of a two week trip! - Truly the most incredible experience. Our family spent two weeks in Spain visiting Barcelona, the Costa Brava, the Basque Country and Madrid and we agreed this was our favorite experience. Feliciano was the most amazing guide. So knowledgeable about history and culture. He kept our party of 6 (5 adults and 1 child, ranging from 70 to 6) engaged for all 7 hours. We were the first through the doors at Montserrat and able to enjoy it for 45 minutes before the crowds arrived. We then had the most amazing tour and lunch at family owned Joan Segura Pujadas. We were never big tour people but recommend this 10 out of 10. We loved it.

Perfect day trip from Barcelona - We had a fabulous time on our tour with Feliciano! We were the first people in the church at Montserrat which was wonderful to have it to ourselves. As we were leaving, the hordes descended. The next stop was the wonderful wine tasting, lunch and tour at Joan Segura Pudadas. Our wine guide was charming and very informative. Having lunch in the vineyard, tasting the varietals was very special, made more so by the fun fellow travelers. We met the wine maker/owner which made it even more special. Feliciano kept us on schedule, shared his knowledge, all with a lovely sense of humor.

Absolutely Ideal - Exceeded already high expectations. This was the last of three tours my wife and I booked with Devour, the first two having been excellent. Feliciano, our guide, was superb — warm, welcoming informative, and entertaining all in one, and the other folks on the tour were delightful. The early morning visit to the monastery and basilica at Monserrat meant we got there ahead of the daily crowds that mob the place, so there were no lines and we could enjoy the ornate basilica, and view the “Black Madonna” and artworks like the ornate statue of St. George slaying the dragon (a very modest one by today’s Game of Thrones standards 😉) virtually by ourselves. Next stop was the elegant and intimate family winery of Joan Segura in the nearby Penedes wine region. Georgina, the winery’s sommelier, introduced us to several wine varieties (including a sublime pinot noir cava rosetta) and the history of the winery, now run by the Segura family’s fifth generation. Following this, Joan himself joined us and we drove out into the vineyards, stopping on a hill overlooking a lovely dell. There we enjoyed an idyllically cool, sunny spring day, sharing wines and a delicious traditional lunch with new friends. This, in my view, is the best possible kind of wine tasting experience. I like to try unique wines and my one trip souvenir is a bottle of Joan’s 24 year old Chardonnay. It’s something I’ve never seen before but that I am sure will be a delightful one of a kind tasting experience when we toast my lovely wife’s birthday next month. If you like interesting people, history and wine, do this tour.
