- Jardi Botanic Historic - Join me on a drawing and illustration workshop in the most beautiful hidden gardens of Barcelona, in Montjuic hill. I will show you some very unique and quiet areas, some with spectacular views over Barcelona. We will stop in each garden to draw plants and nature, I’ll teach you my techniques and show my sketchbooks, and will talk about plants and history of Montjuic.
It will be easy and fun, even for beginners!
It will start with coffee and herbal tea in the Historic Botanical Gardens. They are located in two former quarries and host the tallest trees of Barcelona. We will draw there and then head to other gardens around, like the beautiful Laribal gardens.(The itinerary might slightly change depending on the season)

We’ll tour various gardens, pausing in each to sketch the surrounding flora. No prior drawing skills are necessary! We will commence our journey at the Historic Botanical Garden, home to Barcelona’s loftiest trees. From there, we’ll either visit Joan Maragall gardens or Laribal gardens, the choice depends on the season.

We’ll provide everything you need: a warm cup of tea or coffee to start the day, drawing supplies (pencils, poscas pens), and a sketchbook you can keep.
Please bring your own water bottle, sun protection, and wear comfortable footwear.
