Discovering Tossa de Mar: A Family Adventure

Our journey to Tossa de Mar began with a sense of excitement and anticipation. As a family travel writer, I am always on the lookout for destinations that offer both fun and educational experiences for my children. Tossa de Mar, a charming town on the Costa Brava, promised just that. The bus station in Barcelona was easy to navigate, and soon we were on our way, the kids buzzing with excitement as we settled in for the scenic drive.

We also visited “La Playa de la Mar Menuda,” a shallower beach with calmer waters, ideal for younger children. The kids had a blast building sandcastles and playing in the gentle waves. For a more secluded experience, we checked out “La Playa d´es Codolar,” a typical Costa Brava “cala” that offered a peaceful retreat.

As the day came to an end, we met up at the designated flag on the beach and made our way back to the bus. The trip was seamless, and the kids were happily exhausted from a day of adventure and learning. Tossa de Mar truly is a gem on the Costa Brava, offering a perfect blend of history, culture, and natural beauty.
