El Penedès is one of the oldest wine-making regions in Europe, world-famous for producing wines of exceptional quality, and especially for being the place where cava (sparkling wine) is produced. We will ride our E-bikes around a landscape dotted with farmhouses and wineries set among vines, where wine-growing is carried out at over 300 wineries

Embark on a hiking adventure amidst the vineyards of the El Penedès winemaking region, visiting a family-owned organic winery and sampling their award-winning wines and Cava in an exclusive Small Group Tour!
El Penedès is a historical winemaking district in Europe, globally renowned for its extraordinary wines, particularly as the home of cava (sparkling wine).
We’ll gear up and begin our hike amidst the luxurious vineyards of this attractive Mediterranean landscape. Our journey will take us through a scenery sprinkled with homesteads and wine factories amidst the vines. As we tread the tracks, we’ll discover the different grape varieties, the region’s history and traditions.
During our walk, we’ll witness the mesmerizing views of the iconic Montserrat mountain.
Following the hike, we’ll reach a family-run organic winery. Here we’ll engage in a guided tour of the cellar and have the opportunity to taste three of their award-winning organic white, red and sparkling wines.
- This is an active experience. Participants should be in a normal physical condition and be able to hike.
