Additional Information

Join us for an exclusive encounter with Gaudí’s masterpieces! Get to understand modernism and the renowned Catalan architect during a two-hour stroll. Further indulge in the hands-on experience at a workshop situated in the historic epicenter, where you’ll craft your own keepsake in Gaudí’s signature mosaic style, Trencadís.

Ever wondered why there’s a dragon on the rooftop? Or how a bat played a critical role in a battle? Or where the House of Bones is located? On our walking tour, we’ll connect these dots from medieval history and legends to the inspiration behind Gaudí’s and his contemporaries’ architectural designs along the grand Passeig de Gracia. From street pavement to streetlights - all have a narrative that we’re eager to share with you!

The stroll will guide us to Angelika’s workshop where you’ll learn the mosaic art named ‘Trencadís’. This technique - incorporating materials such as shards of glass or ceramics - is evident in Gaudí’s works. After a brief orientation, you’ll learn the fundamentals, tool handling, and how to create your first masterpiece, like a fridge magnet, or a box lid.

Fantastic guides and services! - Barcelona Feeing is attentive to detail and willing to customize for group needs! We had a large group of university students for walking tour and they were fantastic with the students connecting with them and ensuring all went smooth for a group of 30 +. We will definitely use again.

Great afternoon - We would recommend this fabulous and interesting tour. We went with children aged 9-11. We all found Christian was engaging and knowledgable, with lots of good anecdotes. Because of the small group, there was plenty of time to ask questions. We all enjoyed the mosaic workshop - time for a little mosaic on a fridge magnet or box.

A must see-and-do! - A wonderful experience in a very relaxed atmosphere. I had the pleasure to have a one-on-one walk-and-talk and it took me to wonderful places and great conversations that went beyond the realm of architecture! The ceramic workshop was a lot of fun and it feels very rewarding to go home with a little piece of "art". I will do it again for sure next time I'm in town! Can't wait!

Creating memories - This tour is a great combination-- 1st you get a chance to make a real mosaic - and appreciate the genius that went into all the designs around Barcelona. Our children loved the opportunity to create a small piece of the beauty that is Barcelona The highlight though was the Gaudi/Building tour with Christian! His insight and knowledge was unbelievable - he truly brought the city alive. Our children 18, 15 and 13 enjoyed his stories and really wanted to learn more. Great way to dive into the architecture of Barcelona.

Great Way to Spend an Afternoon! - What a wonderful afternoon! Our family (teens and their parents) so enjoyed our private tour of Barcelona with Christian! He is incredibly knowledgeable about Gaudí and “modernism” architecture. We traipsed around the city, stopping to look at fabulous architecture and hearing great stories along the way. Christian is a wonderful guide, had lots to share and made the two hours fly by. After our leisurely, two hour promenade, Christian handed us off to Angelika and we made lovely mosaics in her studio in an hour! We had our own private space, were offered to either make a magnet or decorate the top of a small box. We all chose the magnets and had such fun creating a pattern out of glass or ceramic tiles, a la Gaudí! We left on time with our beautiful work of art. We would all HIGHLY RECOMMEND this wonderful and unique experience! Thank you for such a fun filled and enjoyable afternoon!

Amazing way to experience Barcelona and take home a truly meaningful souvenir! - We are a family of 4 (10 and 14 yr olds) who wanted a unique experience in Barcelona, so we booked the Gaudí Tour & Mosaic Workshop and it was AMAZING! Christian started us off with a walking tour of some of Gaudí's (Casa Mila, Casa Batllo) and works by other architects of his time. He gave us a great overview of Gaudí--answering every one of our questions--and made the walking tour interesting to all 4 of us (not an easy feat, as it was booked on our second day there and we were jet lagged). Then he dropped us off at Angelika's studio where we could have stayed for hours working on our mosaics. All four of us were TOTALLY engaged in our projects. The best thing about this tour is you go home with both more knowledge of the city and one of its most famous architects and an amazing souvenir that you've made yourself. We LOVED this experience and would highly recommend it to everyone who wants something really special from Barcelona. Thanks so much, Christian and Angelika. You made our stay extra special!
