Highlights
  • Barcelona eBikes Tour - Meeting Point.
  • Barcelona Cathedral - We will explore the stunning neo-Gothic Cathedral of Barcelona and uncover its hidden history. We’ll see the city’s oldest stones in the remnants of Roman walls and aqueducts.

We’ll admire the only public art piece donated by one of history’s most prolific painters, Pablo Picasso.

We’ll trace the city’s history by following the footsteps of the incredible painter, Pablo Picasso, through its streets and neighborhoods.

  • Gothic Quarter (Barri Gotic) - This is the oldest part of Barcelona, originally the city of Barcino during Roman times.
  • Palace of Catalan Music - El Palau de la Música exemplifies our golden era post-Industrial Revolution, when we tore down city walls and expanded, transforming Barcelona into a metropolitan center with iconic Modernist buildings.
  • Mercat Santa Caterina - One of Barcelona’s many markets, and one of the few in the Old Town that retains the essence of a true local market.
  • Barri de La Ribera - Wander through this amazing labyrinth of tiny streets to find the true essence of Barcelona.
  • Passeig del Born - The boulevard where medieval jousting took place. We’ll reveal who came to watch the jousting and why a house on this street was cut in half years ago.
  • El Born - We’ll get lost in a maze of narrow streets where medieval times meet modern days. Here, we’ll discover that some medieval professions are still alive, with many craftsmen and women living and working in these streets.
  • El Born Centre de Cultura i Memoria - This marvelous building, once a food market, now brings medieval times back to life. We’ll uncover the history and stories of this neighborhood at this stop.
  • Parc de la Ciutadella - This beautiful park, transformed for public use, is one of the city’s most picturesque spots. We’ll learn about Barcelona’s transformation after the Industrial Revolution and its role in the 1888 Universal Exposition.
  • Parlament de Catalunya - Located in the stunning Ciutadella Park, the Parlament of Catalunya showcases the transformation from a military fort to a beloved park.
  • Port Olimpic - Here, we’ll enjoy a fantastic view of the city’s skyline from the seafront. We’ll feel the sea breeze as we discover how different this area was just 30 years ago, spotting landmarks like Sagrada Familia, the W Hotel, the Olympic Harbor, Montjuïc Mountain, and Barcelona’s beach from a distance.
  • La Barceloneta - The fishermen’s neighborhood, seemingly frozen in time, closest to the Mediterranean Sea. This area underwent significant changes for the 1992 Summer Olympic Games.
  • Port Vell - Once one of the Mediterranean’s most important harbors, this port was Barcelona’s gateway to the world.
  • Las Ramblas - Discover the most walked street in Barcelona.
  • Basilica de Santa Maria del Mar - The authentic Gothic church cherished by every Barcelonian.

Very good! - Very fun activity. Got to see parts of the city we would have otherwise missed. We were worried it wouldn’t happen due to rain, but rain stopped about an hour before.

Fun Tour - We were lucky to have just the two of us on the tour and to have Elena as our guide. We were able to see a good amount in a couple of hours with frequent stops to get helpful insights into historical and artistic points of interest. Our guide set a perfect pace and rode with careful concern for safety. The tapas and wine afterwards at Le Bon Sort were excellent.

Best way to see the city! - Lily was a fantastic tour guide! We brought our girls (10 & 13) and we all had fun testing turbo on the e-bike, learning about Picasso and a little history of Barcelona, and then tasting tapas at a local restaurant. We even stayed after to sample more tapas and wine/fanta!

Perfect way to discover Barcelone - Hello. The tour of the city with a guide was supper. It’s a perfect way to discover a city for the first time. The tapas with apero was also good. However, I wouldn’t call it a degustation of wines. It’s rather a good aperitif with tapas. Thanks for the nice afternoon and interesting discoveries! Daria

Great Tour and Well Worth It! - Great, fun, and enjoyable tour. Our guide Lily was great in explaining the sites and was very well spoken. She made the tour for us, as the guide makes the tour. Fun riding around and Lily made sure the eight of us were together and safe across streets, etc. We went to the bar for tapas and wine tasting and that was a nice bonus. Would highly recommend this for a fun, interesting, and informational tour of Barcelona.
