What you’ll learn and what we’ll do.
You will learn about ceramics, different clays and decoration techniques.
Let the fun begin.
Out come the aprons, clay and tools to get your hands dirty. Hands on, you will make and decorate two terracotta tiles.
No need to bring anything special, we’ll have an apron ready for you.
No prior ceramics experience is necessary.

Ceramics take a bit of time to dry. So we offer two options if you are just visiting Barcelona:
Option 1: 5 days to 2 weeks later your ceramic piece is ready to pick up or mail. Shipping is not included in the workshop price. We ship worldwide via DHL.
Option 2: Just visiting Barcelona, can’t wait a few days? You can leave your two tiles for the community mosaic and select a finished tile made by Taller Gingell to take home as a memory.

The unique experience of exploring and working in a professional ceramics studio is unlike any other. Our handcrafted ceramics workshop is officially recognized by the Generalitat de Catalunya.
Taller Gingell was founded by Wendy and her husband Eric. They have been applauded as ‘the emerging generation of outstanding craftsmen’ and their contributions have been singled out as the ‘artisan projects making waves in the fashion industry’ by renowned publications including Marie Claire, Condé Nast Traveller and many more.
Wendy’s work has been displayed across Europe and North America in esteemed venues such as the Smithsonian, Philadelphia Museum of Art, Barcelona Design Museum, as well as at various American Craft Council exhibitions.
