Hunte's Gardens Barbados - A wonderful experience , two acres of the most diverse tropical plants set in a sinkhole formed from collapsed cave structure Anthony Hunte was a friendly host offering drinks and cake in his house after the tour round the gardens Even if you are not particularly keen on this type of thing the colours and varieties of plants and trees make Huntes Gardens a real treat

Don’t miss this jewel of a garden - A fabulous tropical garden! Let the paths guide you to wonders at every turn. Loved every minute of our visit and topped off by meeting the man himself, Anthony who serves an excellent rum punch!

Magical fairytale Alice in wonderland forest - Amazing magical place was like a fairytale a bit like stepping into Alice in wonderland. The owner was so friendly and informative and we especially loved the rum. Would definitely recommend for a place to visit.

Huntes Bontancial Gardens - We had just the morning to put in before boarding the ship. WE went to Huntes Gardens. Beautiful, tranquil. Met Mr Hunte who loves talking to people. Lovely way to spend a morning. We took a cab and they waited for us and then took us to the ship with our luggage. You need an hour to do the gardens.

Try to get here - What an amazing place, it is so well laid out, very relaxing,lots of unusual plants. There are numerous resting spots with lovely music being played. We were welcomed by Imran who explained clearly how to get the most from our visit. We were given an informative leaflet about the gardens with an index to the plants. We were fortunate to meet Anthony Hunte who was such a lovely man, full of very interesting stories and we met visitors from all over the world.

The Most Fabulous Garden We Have Ever Been In - We drove to Hunt's Gardens in our rental car and had a beautiful day. The entry fee is about $20 USD per adult and you can sit there all day with a book, and a picnic lunch and just look and listen to the classical music. The garden is in a perfect gully that protects all the plants and palm trees from inclement weather. It is like Eden. Bring your camera and take your time - you will not find another space this beautiful often.

Beautiful & peaceful way to spend an hour - Loveliest place we have been to while on the island!! So happy we chose this garden out of the others I had looked up. Huntes garden is unique in that it felt like my own private oasis due to the many nooks and crannies. Luckily the owner, Anthony was there the day we visited, what an interesting man. We had the most amazing local cake & shortbread for a snack after our hike. The steps and the hike are not challenging, and I’m not in the best shape! Thank you Anthony for sharing your beauty with us!
