I’m inviting you to see Barbados as I experienced it growing up. I hold dear my nostalgic childhood trips around the island with my father, and I’m excited to share my cherished memories with you. The beaches and historical forts of Barbados have always filled me with joy - a pleasure I drew from them as a child. Join me as I divulge intriguing tales only a native would know. My tour takes you on a historical journey through charming towns, where you will appreciate the blend of old structures and contemporary architecture.

As we go along, you’ll have a chance to mingle with locals, encountering street vendors and the iconic Barbadian rum shops. Of course, the stunning natural environment, replete with eye-catching plants and wildlife, should not be missed. Who can tell, perhaps we’ll spot a monkey or two on our way!

Great day! - Deborah was early and waiting for us when we arrived at our meeting place. She was very welcoming and informative. We saw so many nice places and Deborah’s storytelling was entertaining! We asked for advice about things to do and were not disappointed by Deborah’s suggestions about what to see and where to eat. Highly recommend!

Wonderful experience - Great value - Highly Recommended - What an amazing experience! We customized our tour to see the places that were of most interest to us. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and filled our tour with informative and interesting anecdotes. We had a great overview of the island - Bridgetown, Speightstown and Cherry Tree Hill. I would highly recommend touring with Chattel House Tours.

Amazing experience - This was my first visit to Barbados, and I’m glad I chose this tour with Deborah. As a local, she can tell a lot about the island and its history, and how generations of her family lived there. I was able to see many interesting places across Barbados, learned more about the country, and, of course, enjoyed numerous magnificent views. The experience that I enjoyed the most was a little hike along the shore near Animal Flower Cave at the northern tip of the island. The weather was windy, and I saw huge ocean waves crushing into the cliffs at the coast, with water splashes reaching the ground tens of meters higher. It was incredible, and I’m thankful to Deborah for showing me the beauty of the island and sharing her experience. I recommend this tour to everyone.

Deborah connected us with... - Deborah connected us with every open site we had requested to visit. Her amplification on the culture and history of Barbados and her personable approach to the people we met enroute showed her genuine appreciation for the country and its multicultural inhabitants. Outstanding!

Great Experience - Debra is amazing, fun and engaging. Had a wonderful tour with her - even dealing with a group of 9 people that just wanted to drink while they learned the history of the country. Fun time - highly recommended.
